SOURCE: how do I remove extra

there shoulf be screws on the side of the watch to remove. If not they will queeze together and pop out and you will need a tool to do this with. So basically if that the case you need to take it to a dealer or shop and have them remove it. Thats the case with some high end watches.

SOURCE: link removal from band

if you don't have the necessary tools or knowledge then your best bet is to take it in and have a professional remove the link(s) for you. It all depends but sometimes if you take it to Macy's or Neiman's they will do it for free.

SOURCE: how to make a relic watch bracelet a little smaller?

No but if this is a mens watch there might be a micro adjustment on the clasp. To adjust press the pin in the clasp and move the pin in or out depending on the position of the pin to make loose or tight.

Loose hand on my watch can it be repaired ?

Take it to a jeweler, most can fix them. But you need to weigh the cost of a new watch versus what you have now and any sentimental value the watch has. If it's a Longines or a Rolex, fix it. If it's a cheapie just get another. But fixing this is not a do it youself project.

How to replace battery

Some watches the back screws off some have to carefully pry the back of with a knife. Once in look for anything that holds the battery in. Carefully remove the battery and check the number on back for replacement. If it has anything holding the battery in place it is easy to break. If the watch is expensive or has sentimental value take it to a watch repair or a jewelry store for replacement.

Have a nivada grenchen womens watch but it is not running and is missing the dial. Can it be fixed it was my mothers?

Adria it will be very difficult to find the dial and parts to get it going. YOU might be lucky if only cleaning can get it going but without a dial? Also check with manufacturer for help due to sentimental values.

Watch by serial number

value is only what someone would want to pay for it at that moment. Sentimental has no market value...

nothing available in a brief internet search. I would take it to a watch/jewelry shop for inspection/insurance evaluation. Understand insurance/replacement value is always more than actual street value

I have a citizen elegance water resistant watch with serial number 891188. I need 2 links added onto it for it to fit me.

My watch is an Elegance that is thirty years old with sentimental value. I don't know how old your watch is or how much you want to put into it. I would contact Citizen to see if they could fix you up with something if you haven't done so already. They should have these watches cataloged. You may have to send it back to them.

American Waltham pocket watch

Ebay often has these for sale; one I also inherited in an 18K gold 'hunters case' (closes from and back) even though perfectly working after a retired jeweler brought it back to life, turned out to be more valuable for its case than anything else. I've seen similar at swap meets/flea markets in plated cases for as little as $70 and still ticking.
