My printer canon ir 2022 prints faints and blank pages, what can be a problem and how to fix it?

first You must check, if the image is on the drum. To do these, start print and when you hear that paper is in drum section open the left door and look at the drum surface for the toner image on it.
i.e.
If the image is on it and it looks solid, check the transfer roller or replace him. Also clean the laser unit ( lenses and polygon mirror ) and change the drum unit. It can also be the problem with toner station.
i.e. the cylinder doesn't turns or the there isn't toner on cylinder.

It can be a bunch of things, so without seeing the machine it is difficult to say what is the problem... but, in most cases, the problem is in dirty laser unit or in transfer roller.
