Question about Lexmark T630 Laser Printer
I am getting a lot of the open rear door jam and also a 1 1/2 '' wide slight black strip on right hand side. i do take the 2 screws out of the back to get to it to free up the paper. it also looks like the orange transfer wheel has had some plastic peel off on the side that i am getting the problem
The jams are caused by the fuser assembly (the orange wheel is the pressure roller in the fuser), you will need to replace it. To remove it, undo the two screws on the redrive (plastic cover at the rear of the printer) and remove, then there are two screws holding the fuser in one either side and a couple of cables to unclip. REMEBER THE FUSER GETS VERY HOT and care should be taken.
