The jams are caused by the fuser assembly (the orange wheel is the pressure roller in the fuser), you will need to replace it. To remove it, undo the two screws on the redrive (plastic cover at the rear of the printer) and remove, then there are two screws holding the fuser in one either side and a couple of cables to unclip. REMEBER THE FUSER GETS VERY HOT and care should be taken.

MFC-665cw unable to print 50

Did you have a paper jam before this happened? If yes then the paper must have pushed the encoder strip out of alignment.

hen you open the printer so that you can see the print head, move the print head with your hands, pull it to the middle. The space immediately to the front of the printer is blocked by the plastic shield. you can curl your fingers down under this shield. you will feel the encoder strip, which is about 8 mm wide, and is a plastic ribbon, or strip. It runs from left side to right side across the printer, in a vertical orientation. This is the encoder strip. Past this you can feel a longer rubber belt, which is about 3 mm wide. This is not the encoder strip, it is a belt and you don't need to be concerned with this.

Place your fingers on the encoder strip on either side of the print head, and flex it, bending it up and slightly back and then release it. Try this several times. Do this with power on. Once the encoder strip is back into it's slot the printer will start a cleaning cycle and start working.

Unplug the power cord of the printer and open the cover to reveal the carriage assembly.

Squeeze the two levers beneath the paper tray together to remove the tray.

Slide the carriage assembly from the left side of the printer to the middle where you have easy access to it. If the carriage assembly will not slide.

Push down the large black bar located directly above the rollers and then release it so that it springs back up. Now attempt to slide the carriage assembly to the right again. If it still does not slide.

Locate the flat black component found directly below the rollers in the tray compartment. It should be lying flat, parallel with the base of the printer. If it is pointing upward, push it down.

Slide the carriage assembly over to the right once all of the above parts are in their correct positions.

Lift the actuator arm, which is directly above the white and/or gray gear assembly at the left side of the printer. The actuator arm is thin strip of black plastic that is approximately 1 3/4 inches long and 1/3 inch wide. Lifting it and releasing it should restore it to its proper position.

Put the paper tray back in the printer. With the cover of the printer still open, plug in the power cord and turn on the printer.

Press and hold "Resume," then close the cover of the printer.

I am getting 241 paperjam error in my lexmark t630 printer can you please resolve the problem

Remove the back rear door. Then remove the 2 screws holding the redrive in place. After doing so you can see a metal bar running left to right that has a small white or opaque roller on each side. just to the outside of each of those rollers you will see small black flag sensors. Chances are, one of them has fallen out or gotten stuck in the open position, or pinned down. These are page exit sensors. Correct there position and reset the printer.

Printer can't receive 250gram photo paper. I get

If you put your hand inside there will be a paper picking Roller (rubber) clean them with the spirit ..
or with the wet Towel ..
which will solve your issue
if still not then follow the paper Jam steps - cleaning the rubbers when you open the rear
will solve your issue

1. Turn off the product and unplug the power cord.
2. Turn the product around to access the back of the product.
3. Open the rear access door:
1. Locate the tab on the left side of the door and press it toward the right. The door will shift slightly to the right.
2. As the door shifts to the right, pull the door out slightly to release.
3. When the door is released, gently remove the door by sliding the door out and to the left.
4. From the rear access opening, gently pull the jammed paper out of the rollers.
NOTE: If the paper tears when you are removing it from the rollers, check the rollers and wheels for torn pieces of paper that might be remaining inside the product. If all the pieces of paper are not removed from the product, more paper jams are likely to occur.
5. Replace the rear access door:
1. Insert the two posts on the right of the door into the holes on the right side of the opening.
2. Press the tab on the left side of the door toward the right. The door will shift slightly to the right.
3. As the door shifts to the right, push in the left side of the door to lock it into position.
6. Reconnect the power cord and turn the product on.

Change belt cleaner?

You have to move or remove the finisher, depending what finisher you have.
Open the door on the right side of the machine . It is about 4 inches high and 14 inches wide.
Open the front cover and move the black bar to the down position as if you were replacing a drum.
Then on the right side, you slide the transfer unit out about 4 or so inches. On the front of that unit there are 2 torx screws held together with a black plastic strip. Remove those 2 screws, remove and replace the cleaner.

Carriage jam open door carriage jam and then press OK to continue

You would be absolutely amazed how small a piece of debris can cause that fault. Use a flashlight and look carefully for any piece of debris and remove it.

Get some "canned air" from any computer or office supply store and blow out the interior of the printer thoroughly.

Carrier jam on printer

There could be 4 possibilities.

1. Ink cartridges lids are open which is not allowing cartridges to move freely.
2. Ink cartridges carriage will not move from its original position(left) when front cover is opened
3. Encoder strip is Dirty.
4. Encoder strip is Out of position.

1. Open the front cover and check if ink cartridges lids are properly snapped in.

2. Turn the printer off and pull out the power cable from power socket, open the front cover and manually center the ink cartridges carriage.
Clean the metallic rod inside the printer using WD40 or Kleenex from Left corner to right corner properly.

3. Cleaning the encoder strip:
a. printer should be off and disconnected from power.
b. open the front cover.
c. Using a dry, lint free cloth, pinch the encoder strip on the right-hand side of the cartridge carriage and pull your fingers across it toward the right-hand side of the printer and you can move the cartridges carriage to clean the strip completely.
d. Note: The encoder strip is a narrow band of clear plastic and can be difficult to see without direct lighting running parallel to metallic rod.
e. Close the printer and try again to print.

4. Repositioning the Encoder strip.
a. Remove the power cord from the printer.
b. Open the front cover.
c. Gently slide the ink cartridge carrier to the middle of the printer.
d. Gently move the top part of the printer belt to the right.
e. Using an index finger, gently push encoder strip down and then back up, to get it back into the slot located on the back of the ink cartridge carrier.
f. Gently press the strip first to the rear, and then forward, to ensure that it is seated correctly.
g. Manually move the ink cartridge carrier to the left, then to the right, to check the positioning of the encoder strip.
h. Once the encoder strip has been re-seated, close the scanner lid.
i. Re-connect the power cord to the printer and try again to print.

Incorrect position of encoder strip

Correct position of Encoder strip

Hope it should fix the issue.

Maytag Front load epic z - code f-01

Once you change the CCU, that is where the fault codes are stored. They will go away. To change the CCU, remove the screws on the top of the washer (usually #20 torx or 1/4 screws) Push the lid slightly back and lift off. Depending on the model of Epic z you have the CCU will be on the top, center towards the rear or on the top, right hand side towards the front. It will be the plastic box where all of the wires are going. However, before changng the CCU, unplug the unit for 2 1/2 minutes. Does the problem return? While you have the top open, check all of your connections going to your CCU. Are any loose? Also try following the black hose on the top, right hand side towards the rear. It goes to your pressure switch (round cylinder 2 1/2 - 3" wide). Give it a firm tap with something insulated (the handle of your screw driver for instance). If the switch gets stuck it can cause a false f01 eror code.
