Question about PC Desktops

1 Answer

I have used Musicmatch Jukebox for years to download and burn mp3s to a CD. I have always used CD-R CDs. All of a sudden when I go to play the CDs, they aren't compatible with the same players I've always played them on. For instance, my Bose surround sound gives me the message of: format unsupported. It has always been my understanding that CD-R's played on anything, and up until now, they have. Is there a setting I can change to rectify this matter? Thanks in advance for your help.

MUSICMATCH PROBABLY CONVERTED YOUR FILES TO A NEWER FORMAT LIKEACC OR MP4 , THE PLAYERS SOFTWARE IS NOT UPDATED ENOUGH TO PLAY THESE NEW FORMATS , CHECK YOUR MUSIC FORMATS IN AN EXPLORER WINDOW AND IT WILL TELL U WHAT FORMAT THE SONG IS. WE KNOW YOUR PLAYER WILL PLAY A WAV FORMAT, BURN A STANDARD WAV. FORMAT DISC ON THE SAME TYPE OF DISK AND IF IT PLAYS ITS THE ADVANCE FORMATS THATS YOUR PROBLEM.

My Compaq Presario desktop will not burn CDs

Hi,
Perform a system restore and take the computer back to a time before the problems started with burning, or you can download a different media player and try burning with that, real player as a good bit of software to use for burning and Nero is too (Nero is a devoted burning suite)

Get real player here >>>>>>

Get Nero 9 here >>>>>>

CD's won't play on Home & Car stereo after Burning in Mp3 or WAv

most older car and home stereos will NOT play mp3's or wav files reguardless what kind of CD they are written on.
You need a newer stereo OR convert the mp3s to cd audio and then burn them to any recordable cd.. (audio cds can be read by any cd player but will take more space)

Unnable to make mp3 cd

You may be burning them as a Audio CD which would limit the amount of songs allowed but a data cd would only copy the MP3's. Just check to see which format it is burning.

If you are using the basic windows drag and drop that is the Data Format.

One last thing.... Make sure the CD is blank

Cannot burn cd from Musicmatch from Dell Optiplex GX260. Error.

Hello,

My name is ArmyMason, I am here to help you. So you have an issue burning music to CD's. What is the format of the music? MP3, WMA, or WAV? Is the music protected by copyright in which doesn't allow you to burn it to CD? Right click on the song and click properties you will be able to see if its copyright protected there. Also some burning software only works with newer CD drives. I had an issue once burning a DVD with this software I bought because the DVD player wasnt supported. Once I upgraded the DVD Burner I was able to burn DVD's. Those are the only things that could be stopping you from burning music.

Hope that helps,
ArmyMason

Musicmatch Jukebox Plus went out of business. They recommended a switch to Yahoo. You can, however, still tag your library collection. You can also use Windows Media Player to ps.lay, organize, and tag your song
