Tata docomo with nokia N70 shows 3G signal. but not able to access internet on 3G speed so it work as 2G while it shows 3G signals . Please give me solution.

Manually configuring Docomo GPRS settings

Take TATA DOCOMO INTERNET' WAP profile in Settings:

In wap 2.0 phones[Nokia,Sony Ericson,samsung,L.g, Motorola etc] enter these additional gprs settings.

If you do not have a Nokia and Sony Ericsson phone, you'll need to set your phone manually with these details.

Browsing the Internet

TATA DOCOMO INTERNET works with any PC or Laptop that has Bluetooth or USB port for the cable.So after getting the settings save them and start browsing on your phone for free.But if you want to connect your computer to tata docomo internet gprs,you willl have to follow the given procedures.

Connect your phone to computer either via Bluetooth or data cable

• Install the PC suite software.
• Pair mobile handset with your PC or Laptop via the Bluetooth program
• Click on "Connect to the Internet" icon from the PC Suite programs.

or for manual PC configuration,create a new connection using the "Make a new connection" wizard on your PC / laptop.Once a dialer is configured, leave the username and password blank. Enter the access number *99# .You are now ready to start browsing using the tata docomo free unlimited gprs plan.

Connection/Download Speed of Tata Docomo GPRS

I've heard both positive and negative remarks about the download speed of tata docomo internet connection.According to some tests given on their twitter profile,it's said that an user gets a speed of 76kbit/sec.Anyways,lets check for more user reviews from other states as well.

It may be the bands on which Tata Docomo network operates may not fulfill by the Nokia Classic 2700 phone.

Activation is depenedent on your operator that is TATA docomo, please send the SMS for activation code to docomo, rest all should work fine if your SIM had GPRS activated earlier.

You will know if service is active when the "3G" symbol will be visible near range bars.

Please contact your tata docomo customer care . they will send you a settings in the form of a message and it will prompt you to save it once you open it. Just save it and then you can activate your MMS service at the charge specified by your tata docomo service if any.

talk to docomos customer care about it.get another sim i.e uninor has plan of 6gb@rs90 or bsnl 6gb@rs270 bsnl will give you a speed of 300 on avg if you are using a 2g sim in umts mode in a 3g enabled area.

The 3G icon appears only when you are in 3G reception area and you are receiving 3G signal.
Ensure that you are in the 3G reception area and signal is received .some areas there may be weak signal it may also cause to select Gsm mode

go to phone-->operator selection--->manual....select docomo

there can be 2 possibilities

1st-simcard problem.u have to visit nearest tata indicom outlet for replacement

2nd-u need to update mobile software as airtelsimcard is of 32k and docomo is of 64k sim
