Either using Outlook (local access), Outlook Web Access (Internet access) or Exchange ActiveSync (Smartphone/PDA access).
All of these methods allow you to access your Contacts.
They use MAPI (Mail Application Protocol Interface).

If exchange server database dismounted or shows File Not Found" Error then use Exchange EDB Recovery Tool to fix issue. It can also repair all type error of edb file and restore lost mailbox items including Notes, Contact, Calendar, Tasks, Journals, Reminders, Inbox, Outbox, Sent items, Draft etc from inaccessible or damaged exchange server database. Can you synchronise Outlook 2010 contacts with an iPad?

If you sync with an Exchange server of some kind, your outlook contacts should be synced to that server. If that is the case, add the Exchange server to your iPad under Settings>Mail, Contacts, Calendar>Add Account. Then, make sure the slider switch beside Contacts is set to 'On'. If you are not connected to an Exchange server, you can always try syncing to another service like Google Contacts and use that service's sync functions to bring the contacts on to your iPad.
Hope this helps, Alistair

What is the easiest way to import MS Outlook (addresses, telephones, mail etc) from my laptop to my new ipad

Connect your ipad to an exchange server. You can do it by following these instructions:

. From the Home Screen, tap Settings
2. Scroll down and tap Mail, Contacts, Calendars
3. Select Add Account > Microsoft Exchange.
4. Now type into the following information:

* Email: your email address
* Username: your-Exchange-User-name
* Password: your-mail-password
* Description: It's Optional
* Server: ****.com

Your username is the one you use to access mail at work.it could be firstname and initial like (robd) for example or it could be your email address. Next, the server field you put in the server to connect to. Every business has a different name for this field. You should ask your IT dept. if you are unclear what your account credentials are to fill in these fields.
But once you are connected to the server, you can specify what you want to sync onto your ipad. Contacts will be found in the address book under "Groups" these contacts will than pull from your exchange connection.
Hope some of this helps.

Configure ms outlook 2007 to access my office mail it shows my inbox mail but dont shows my outbox mail or sent item & also contact list .Before outlook configure i access my outlook through web mail ....

ahhhh ok you want to access your Sent mail folder and contacts which you used when you used Outlook Web Access(OWA) "outlook through web mail" to connect to your Office Exchange mail server

in order to get this you have to configure Outlook 2007 to connect to exchange server. Do the following steps
  1. if you are running outlook close it as you can not configure exchange accounts when it is running
  2. if you are running vista, xp or 7 click on the start menu and right click on email and go to properties
  3. click on email accounts
  4. select "view or change existing accounts" click next
  5. click on any of the previously configured accounts and remove them
  6. click add
  7. select microsoft exchange server click next
  8. type name of the exchange server (you must get this from your administrator) and type in your username (name which you used to use through web mail) click on next
  9. click on finish
  10. open outlook 2007 and you should see all your previous contacts and sent items
hope this helps

How to find and enter the server name/connect a server to outlook express .I have got a server and many client systems connected to it,and outlook express is already installed,but i dont know how to bring...

Contact your local ISP (Internet Service Provider).
They will tell you the name of the mail-server(s),
and will tell you how to configure Outlook Express to use the name(s).

Almost any "Pentium 4" (or newer) computer is "beefy" enough hardware to run Microsoft Exchange as an Intranet Mail Server. So, $100 to $200 for a "bare" Pentium 4 system, plus the cost of purchasing a license for Microsoft Exchange. Hiring a consultant to do the setup/configuration will run $100/hour.

I have an exchange server that is connected to an ISA server. It stopped sending messages externally but can send and receive mails locally. I noticed that the ISA server in the IIS manager has Receiver...

Now when somebody reports that he or she is not getting any "outside"
emails, I go to Exchange System Manager -> Servers -> <server> ->Protocols ->
SMTP -> Default SMTP Virtual Server - > Current Sessions and I see a bunch of
.br, .it, .ar, OHIOIJHOJOJI, etc, user names with connected times 98353566,
43543543, 3453453 seconds, or in another words with endless connection times.

I understand, that once the exchange reaches the number of connections of
50, it stops accepting new connections, stops receiving emails and here is my
qustions:
1. Why the "Terminate All" command doesn't remedy the problem with email flow?
As the second option, I try to restart SMTP service, but it freezes in a
stopping mode leaving me with only one option to restart entire server. (BTW,
I've also noticed that it feezes after I update IMF filter and I need to
restart the server)
2. what are those connections and how to protect Exchange from them?

New to exchange server 2003

Hello there!
First things First!
1) you always going to have problems with exchange servers, or migrations. ** systems are not perfects**
2) You can migrate the emails to the new server, but, if only are in the correct version of Exchange 2003.
3) if backup is damage or fail, you lost everything.
4) try to reinstall the Server, and all utilites, is better, I know takes more time, but is better because you created yourself.
I suggest you to install from scratch!
Good luck
