Has the printing head got jammed recently?

Open the cover and look at the printing head (where the ink sits).

Is it located to the very far right or is a couple of inches out from the right?

If it is out, gently push it back to the right as far as it will go, then power it back on, it should do all of its checks as normal and the head will move a few times, but it should return to the far right and then be ready for printing.

Check there is no paper jammed anywhere and reload any paper.

Try to print again

Does it now work??

Is it still under warranty? If so return it to the shop where you got it and ask for a replacement, they may say it will have to be repaired, which does not help you short term.

The other thing you could do, is to buy a new printer. The price of these things are dirt cheap now, so this could be the best option. I know in this country the c48 is now replaced by the D92 which is only £33+p&p new.

Epson c48 printer

Reset your counter back to zero. But for some you must also check the waste bin status. Need disassembling this is to ensure ink will not overflow from your printer.

Reseting is only software base. Try this link
