Hi MsRenee,

What type of music player have you bought? I'm assuming it's an MP3 player of some kind that attaches to the computer using a USB cable.

If it's Apple-based (iTouch/Phone/Pod), files are synchronised using iTunes installed on your PC.

If it's another product, you can simply attach the MP3 player, browse through the folders as if it were a USb drives and copy/paste the music into the appropriate folders. Some other players have their own applications/software to do so.

Was it a second-hand purchase without a manual? More details are needed so we can help you.

Cheers!

How to put msic on it

Hi,
Install the Windows driver included in the product package before connecting your Sylvania MP3 player. Insert the included driver CD into your CD-ROM drive and run the setup file if it does not load automatically. This driver makes sure your computer can recognize and operate the Sylvania MP3 player.
  • 2 Insert one end of the USB cable into the USB port on the Sylvania MP3 player.
  • 3 Insert the other end of the same USB cable into the USB port on the computer.
  • 4 Wait for the computer to recognize the Sylvania MP3 player as a connected device. Open your file manager or browser to locate the Sylvania MP3 player as a drive or connected device if your computer does not prompt you automatically.
  • 5 Open the file folder containing the MP3 or WMA digital music files you wish to download to your Sylvania MP3 player.
  • 6 Drag and drop the file or folder icons of your desired digital music onto the Sylvania MP3 player device icon. Drag and drop the digital music into open folders within the Sylvania MP3 player device icon as well.

I have an Ipod Classic ( the newest version). It hasn't given me any problems until I let my friend use my Itunes to put msic on his new Ipod shuffle. Worked fine for him but now my computer wont recognize...

Try unplugging and plugging it back in, this happens to every ipod user once in a while. Try plugging it in a different USB port. Let me know how it goes.

I cannot play the files that I have in My player

First you want to make sure your adding the correct file format MP3, perhaps WMA if it supports it.

Plug it in and go to my computer, it should show up as an extra drive open it and drag your music files into it. That should work.

Dont know how to set up my daughters mp34 player please help

To put music on the player from your computer:
Connect the player to your pc with the USB-cable.
Go to My Computer on your pc and go to the player, which will be called 'MP-C7085' or something. you'll see two folders: Data and Media.
Copy music to the media folder, as the data folder is accessible only from computers, not from the player itself.

    Hope this helps,
    Otherwise describe the exact problem
