The amber is the low impedance indicator and can mean that the impedance of the load is too low or there is an internal fault (shorted output transistors).

The blue LED indicates that the voltage is too low. This can be due to a bad connection or low battery voltage. You need to measure the DC voltage across the B+ and ground terminals of the amp to confirm that they're at or above 12v.

Let me know if you have any other questions.

My amp jl audio 500/1 i connect it and the green light turn on then i turn in the sterio and it sounds but when i turn off the sterio and when i wanna turn it on again the amp dont turn on i dont know why

Check the remote lead and see if it is getting power at the amp when it won't come on that way you know if the issue is with the head unit or the amplifier.

Got jl300/2 amp confused which subwoofer sounds good

Hello drsubhakar26,

JL W6's will perform well with from 150-600 watts RMS. W7's with from 150-500 watts. Less expensive Alpine Type R's work OK with from 200-500 watts RMS. Either of the brands will sound good. None of them will perform to their full potential with 300 watts RMS. Powering any sub with a 2-channel amp is a compromise. A monoblock is more efficient.

Hope this helps.

Jl audio 250/1 amp

This could be due to multiple things. First I would run a test light to the speaker leads of the amp as if you were running your speaker...it should light up and blink to the sound of music coming through. If no sound then most likely your RCA cables are bad or input jackets on the amp are loose and be shorting out causing the low light to come on. If you know 100 percent that you bought that amp in good running condition then most likely its something simple like the RCA wires are bad..Hope this kind of helps you out.

Jl 1000/1 amp not working

If I'm not mistaken, the blue light is the low voltage indicator. You need to confirm that the voltage ON THE POWER SUPPLY TERMINALS of the amp never drops below 11 volts. If it does, the amp will shut off. It's possible that you have a bad connection or even a defective fuse that's causing the problem.

JL recommends a 100 amp fuse for the amp. If you use a fuse that's too large and something goes wrong, the amp may be very severely damaged (possibly beyond repair).

Nine times out of ten if the amp smells burnt it usuallly is. Your best bet is to hook another amp to your system and see if you get sound.
