    This is my 5th LGVX8700. I went through 6 LGVX8600s. This is the second phone that I've received the "Camera Start" error. On the first phone it occurred right away. I have had this phone for approximately six months now and just started receiving the error yesterday.

I went through 3 8600's and this is my first 8700 (refurb though). I am having the same problem with the camera. It started a few days ago, just once in a while. Now it is all of the time. VZ said to bring it to a tech at the store or swap it out for another. I read on another forum that the tech should try updating the Firmware to T87VZV02 (OR O2) not sure what he typed. I'm gunna give it a try. I hope it works!!! Good luck with yours!

What is error code 2 on cannon camera sx210is

You can try a hard restart:

  1. Put fresh batteries in the camera but no memory card
  2. Double click the on/off button so the camera turns on, then off;
  3. Press the button again and, hopefully, it will start normally.

If this doesn't help, call Canon tech support. E-series error codes indicate hardware or firmware issues that need professional repair.
