The phone keeps "losing" time

  • 2 more comments
  • Anonymous Apr 05, 2012

I have same problem. I had to set the time already 5 times. I have two base stations. I am trying another one now.

  • Anonymous Apr 05, 2012

When I used two phones on the base station the time would be lost more often. So now I am only using one phone on the base station. My next step will to use no phones on the base station and see if it keeps time. It might be an issue when it is trying to sync time with all dect phones.

my second base station is doing the same thing but woarse.

  • Anonymous Apr 06, 2012

its a good thing the caller id and time stamp the phone uses is from the telephone company as far as I can tell (I have confirmed this). So the clock is not that important except when it comes to voice messages on the phone.

How do I reset my date & time for Panasonic kxtga470

The KX-TGA470 handset works with several models of Panasonic cordless phone base units. Press Menu and then press #. Next press 1 0 1 . (Alternatively use the arrow keys to navigate to find Initial Settings and then Set date and time after pressing Menu.) If you need to change the date, type in the date as three sets of two digit numbers (month, day and year). Then press OK. Next type in the time. Press OK and then select AM/PM with the arrow keys if you are using 12-hour time. Finally chose Save followed by Off.

The manual for the base describes setting the date and time. See http://panasonic.ca/viewing/ALL/KX-TG4711C/OI/TG4711C_PNQX5094ZA/TG4711C_PNQX5094ZA.pdf on page 15.

I hope this helps.

La crosse atomic model wt 8005 clock instructions

The WWV broadcast is not really strong in some locations, so if things have changed in your area, like the location the clock is in or addition of items that produce interference like flourescent lights, change them back to the way they were. If that does not work try setting the clock near a window for several days and see. If you dont get synchronized time then the receiver in the unit may have gone out.

Good Morning, I keep getting a warning "unable to

This camera will only handle a 16GB capacity flash card the camera Firmware will not allow for larger cards. I ran into a similar problem (different camera) but solved the dilemma with updating the camera firmware. I can only suggest you check out your camera model on the Sony web site for updates if you purchase Memory Cards larger then 16GB. If you have cards under 16GB check make sure your camera is set for memory card and not reading from the Internal memory. Another crazy thing is make sure your clock is working (day date & time) and set correctly.

The original battery stopped working. Whenever we picked up the phone it just made a very loud noise in our ears. Now I ordered replacements batteries from ebatts. The red light is always on, slightly...

place the phone in the BASE for several seconds then try it. make sure it is the base and not a stand alone charger. if this does not correct it ensure you have the correct replacement battery for the phone. be aware the first time you charge it ... it has to be charged for at least 12 hours

Uniden clock not keeping time, needs to be set

This model phone will not keep time. You can reset it, re-register it or WHATEVER. Next time the phone rings, it loses track of time again and has to be re-set.

88900 Atomic Clock does not read time and temperature.

Batteries must come out of both the temperature sensor (transmitter) and base (clock and temperature display). Leave out for about 4 minutes. Replace the batteries in the temperature sensor FIRST and set it about 5 - 10 feet away from the base. Replace the batteries in the base and leave them both set without touching any buttons for at least 15 minutes (usually only takes 5 minutes or so). The temperature should start to display. You can set the clock manually to the correct time and have it get the updates via radio in the evening or night. Should work after all this just fine. (have done it alot of times this way over the years)

Good luck.

Clock reset and cant find satellite

I have had the same problem. I just notice the power switch on the bottom of the unit. I believe if this one is used it will not lose power. The other power button is probably for a standby mode.

Wharfedale DECT TAM telephone/answer machine is flashing CL on the main answer machine base unit. This message is not indicated in the user manual can you please advise? Many Thanks Steven Clifford

This is due to the base unit losing power and needs the clock resetting.
The handsets retain their clocks under battery power so this is a little misleading.

To reset the base unit clock:
- press the OK key
- press the 'down' arrow twice until "DATE/TIME" is displayed.
- press the OK key again, this will display the year. Enter the correct year on the handset numeric keypad and then press OK. (Only the last two digits of the year need to be entered).
- The date is then displayed in MM/YY format, enter the correct date on the handset numeric keypad and then press OK.
- The time is then displayed, enter rhe correct time on the handset numeric keypad and press OK.
- The handset then beeps and displays "SAVED".
- Press the "C" button and replace the handset on the base unit.

The base unit should now stop flashing "CL".
