I've purchased several wall mounting pieces from Moen with their built in black connection inserts. One is a towel bar. Another is a glass shelf and the third is a toilet paper holder.
The towel bar brackets and the glass shelf brackets will be mounted on drywall. Wall anchors have been included. One set of wall anchors have blades to grip into the drywall while one set is without the blades. Since opening the boxes I'm not sure which set of mounts go with which pieces.
The toilet paper holder is to be mounted onto our wooden vanity. I'm assuming the black mounting brackets will use standard screws to hold the brackets in place, but they were not included. The drywall anchors were the only items sent by Moen. It woukl be helpful to know what screw sizes are recommended.
Do you have a video showing the installation of these Moen brackets. I do like the Moen bracket concept, but would like to visually see how they would be installed. I'm familiar with mounting towel bars and brackets that get tightened in place with an Allen wrench. I'm just not familiar with the new Moen mounting pieces and a video demo would be great to see. I really do not want to begin mounting the anchors only to find I've done them incorrectly and tear up my wall board.

There are larger screw-type anchors available at a hardware store. If the hole is a half inch, you can possibly use an expanding wing type "molly" anchor. it's hard to assemble the screws through the bracket, then put on the butterfly, and shove the folded butterfly into the hole, but it's doable.
Do the tips come off? Is it possible that the bar slides through the brackets? Most high end hardware has very small Allen screws to mount it. If not, go to Moen website for instructions or a phone number
The Moen YB2824 is attached to the mounting bracket with a set screw through the base. You would simply need to loosen this set screw to remove item from the wall.
There should be a small screw in each of the arms that secure the towel bar to the wall mounts. You will need to loosen each of these to remove the towel bar from the wall and to release the mounting bracket which has pulled free. To repair you need to puchase a larger size moly plug, toggle mount or other suitable hardware to secure the mounting bracket to the sheetrock wall (should not have pulled free is screwed in to the stud). Once you secure the mounting bracket then you are able to re-install the towel bar by placing the arms over the mounting brackets and tightening the small screws on each arm of the towel bar.

Here is a couple of videos that should help understand how towel bars
Newer towel bars don't have set screws... Solution-slide off! There is an opening in the bottom of the bracket. Slide your flat head screw driver inside the opening and place pressure on the bottom. Make sure you place enough pressure to allow the holder to slide off.. Now pull on the holder and it will snap off...
Towel bars usually have a base that attaches to the wall with a screw. To expose the screw, you must loosen and or remove a small screw on the underside of the mounts. Once the screw is exposed just tighten it.
on both ends look underneath and there is a tiny hole with an Allen/hex head insert u turn counterclockwise wise and loosen srew until you can tilt end upwards towards the wall, reverse to install
Since towel bars are usually installed onto separate hardware that's mounted on the walls, use the actual hardware as a template to mark exactly where to drill your mounting holes. Hold a piece of mounting hardware against the masking tape and use your pencil to mark the actual spots to drill your holes. Use different-sized drill bits to drill for the two ends. The Molly bolt or wall anchor will require a much larger diameter hole than the screws going directly into the stud. (The size of the hole required for the wall fastener will be marked on the packaging.) Install the wall fastener into the wall, then mount the hardware onto the wall and place the ends of the towel bar over the hardware. Attach the towel bar to the mounting hardware using the screws included with the towel bar. These are commonly small-slotted screws located on the bottom of the end pieces of the towel bar.
