Question about Dacor MCS130 Millennia Electric Single Oven

Oven light I have 2 of these ovens from 2002.  The oven lights have begun turning on and off constantly in both of them.  I keep the fuse to the ovens off because the lights going on and off, whether the oven is in use or not, drives me crazy. Same exact problem - oven light keeps turning itself on and off intermittently. More recently, it is doing something new -- when the oven gets hot, the light switch makes a gosh-awful rapid ticking sound that is driving us batty! Can anyone offer a solution?

The only way to stop the constant clicking noise is to push the light switch and hold it in. This, plus the other symptoms, makes me think that there is a problem with the switch that controls the oven light.
Can someone tell me whether it is possible to replace the switch without replacing the entire control panel, and if so how I would find the part number? Is it difficult to do?
    Thanks.

This is done to regulate the temperature. Higher heat settings will let the element stay on longer, while lower settings will turn it off sooner. Even on high, the elements may turn off periodically because there is a switch called a temperature limiter. Its job is to keep the element from overheating.

The oven light is usually a standard 40 watt appliance bulb.
First, remove the cover and check to make sure the bulb is not loose.
If it's loose, tighten it. If yours has stopped working completely,
change the bulb. If this doesn’t fix the problem, then the
problem may be with the door switch on the oven’s frame, the
socket itself, or a separate switch by the main controls. If the switch
doesn’t work, or only works sometimes, you need to replace
it. If your oven has a self-cleaning feature, the oven light may not
    operate during this time.

Oven has stopped heating, and automatic interior light has also stopped working. Fan still works though - any ideas?

Stove possibly has a fuse panel which is usually in the inside area of the switches and there is usually one for each burner as well as the oven. Make sure you replace with the right size fuse or you could have trouble.

Wow deffinately sounds like the control brd it sounds like a pretty good examination by somebody that is used to electric. It would be a very complicated troubleshoot over a message brd.The temp problem could be calibration issues or a bad thermistor not reading to the oven correctly.but intermittent kicking on off could be more.Maybe some programming issues usually shut the power off and back on to reset but if your turning off the breaker that would rule that out.Maybe turn of power and chek plugs and wire for loose connections.that would be a good start.

The touch membrane is gone. You can replace it (like i did) and wait for the next thing to go wrong. Took me 3 months for the next problem, and the membrane was $300.
