I have a Ricoh Aficio 2045 and whenever i try to copy double sided the paper jams in the copier but is fine when copying single sided. It always Jams at Point C in the photocopier?? Can anyone help me??

If the paper is not getting out of the tray, the rollers need cleaned.
The scratches. If the paper jams in the hot area. You will need a new hot roller.
Also the scratches may be coming from the drum. Sometimes it is hard to determine between the drum and fuser hot roll.

Jams when duplexing on ricoh mp161

if you are talking the origanal in the DF check for staples or ppr clips inside the DF, or if it is jaming the copies try fresh ppr clean the rollers.

My Ricoh Aficio 220 has routine paper jams. I have never found any jammed paper in it.At times the first sheet in the paper tray is bend, but not always.

Needs new feed rollers in the paper tray. You can try and clean them but it probably will need replacing.

I want now what's Common faults in Aficio 2035

THe main problems are toner spill form drom/dev units ..the transfer on the right hand door will have to be emptied every few months. the paper tray paper stops need to be checked as they come out of place and cause paper jams if not set in place..cahrge rollers can be troublesome if not cleaned every coulple of months and may cause dirty image at the sides or lines on copies..dust on laser **** glass can cause faint on sides of copies.. the fuser stripper fingers tat guide the paper need to be checked for toner under the points to stop paper jams in fuser and the lower guide plate entrance to the fuser needs to be cleaned off every now and then to stop crinklin of paper...apart from that good machine

I am trying to print double-sided copy on card stock

HI there sounds like there is a blockage in the duplex area that is not holding any sensors down. Check the duplex area for torn paper, failing this it maybe a sensor problem which will then need a engineer.

This jam problems are always very difficult to solve without seeing the machine!
Because i need to see the jam location or take a report to see where the paper jams.
you say that it is on the Point C, but that just helps a little.
I can tell you that you have a problem in the duplex door (but you already know that). It could be several things like; transport rollers, gates, solenoids... well, the best help i can give you is to advise you to call your technical support.

I had a problem just like that many times. The problem is the rubber padding in the duplex gate solonoids (there are 2) you need to take the top off and than remove the "bridge" cover to get to the solonoids. If you are not a tech don't even try!!!

Check the front door switches and make sure that the connections are tight and clean, also reseat the connectors to the I/O board. Hope this helps.

350 is a copy quality problem. Too little of too much toner in the developer unit or a very dirty machine. Never blow air trying to clean your machine!!
