Just called in a sears technician 150 dollar bill that was an easy fix. he says my bottom freezer kenmore fridge with warm fridge problem was due to the pathway being blocked by ice and garbage which is common with these fridges. he took off cover from the fridge bottom and poured boiling water down to the freezer. try that before you replace any parts or call in a tech. next time im getting a top freezer because the blower is on the top not in the middle with the bottom freezers and thus more problem prone.

Freezer coils are freezing up and need to be defrosted evey few days with a hair dryer. It's a Kenmore model # 2539658011. What do I need to replace?

Refrigerators are sealed systems, most have no ports to recover refrigerant or perform service. The problem could be several things, the only really repairable problem could be the fan (if there is one) but most likely the problem is from either: the superheat metering device; the charge (amount of refrigerant present in the system) is low, indicating a leak; or the compressor is failing. It is probably more cost effective to replace the refrigerator rather than to repair it, especially if it is a standard residential type

This is the second time the freezer accumulates water and freezers at the bottom of the freezer section of the Admiral HMG67158, 26.6 cu ft freez/refrig. The coils behind the panel were completely frozen...

unplug unit, remove back panel inside freezer and manually defrost with hair dryer, sounds like you have a defrost problem, check defrost thermostat, defrost heater or defrost timer, defrosting with hair dryer will fix until it freezes up again

Kenmore Elite 795.75542401 Water freezes on the bottom & then spills out to the floor. We can't find a drain hole anywhere!!

Hi,

There is the drain in the freezer under the evaporator. You have to remove the rear panel in the freezer and the freezer floor to access it. Defrost it using a hair dryer and put hot water through the drain to make sure it's clean. Make sure the bottom end of the drain hose (behind the rear cover) is clean as well. Vacuum everything in the compressor compartment and keep it clean.

My freezer on my Frigidaire is not fully freezing?

Take the back panel off inside your freezer compartment and check to see if the defrost coils are frozen over. If they are, you can use a hair dryer to defrost them or just let it sit for a day with a fan blowing on them.

Water leaking into the refrigerator from the freezer.

you have to defrost the freezer part and drain tube in the freezer,a hair dryer works well,if after you defrost it and freezes again its your defrost timer, make sure its fully defrosted first before buying the defrost timer

My side by side fridge, fridge side is feezing up...

HI,GOOD JOB CLEANING THE COILS IT HELPS ALOT,MOST TIMES IF YOUR FREEZER SIDE IS FREEZING UP THERE ARE 5 THINGS TO CHECK,WHAT MAKE,MOST GE HEARTERS GO BAD FIRST,EASTEST TO CHECK FIRST IS THE FAN,OPEN FREEZER DOOR,IS THE FAN RUNNING,SOME MODELS YOU WILL HAVE TO HOLD THE FREEZER BUTTON DOWN FIRST,MOST ON INSIDE TOP,NEXT REMOVE FREEZER BACK PANEL WALL,IF YOU SEE A SHEET OF ICE,YOUR DEFROST HEATER(ON BOTTOM OR SIDE) AND THE HEATER TERMANATOR(LITTLE ROUND CLIP ON BALL WILL HAVE TO BE CHECKED WITH A OMES METER,YOU CAN DEFROST IT WITH A HAIR DRYER,WHEN DEFROSTED YOU CAN SEE IF THE DRAIN(MIDDLE BOTTOM OF FREEZER IS CLOGGED,LAST DEFROST TIMER(TOP FRONT,BACK BOTTOM,INSIDE FRIG.TURN CLOCKWISE SLOW TILL YOU HEAR A CLICK,SEE IF FREEZER FAN WENT OFF,WAIT 25 MINUTES,SEE IF FAN COMES BACK ON IF SO IT'S NOT THE TIMER,LET ME KNOW WHAT YOU FIND AND I WILL HELP YOU FARTHER-MIKE
