Can't hear caller. phone slides open both ways at once.
I have 2 questions...
I can't hear the caller tho they can hear me with a slight buzzing sound in the background. How do I fix this?
Also my phone slides open both ways at the same time. Is it supposed to do this? Does this have anything to do with the hearing problem above?

This is a problem that has to do with the speaker of the phone(not your loudspeaker but the small one). It is probably broken and as a result, there is no way you can hear your callers. One way to confirm this is for you to put your call on loudspeaker when it comes in and you have picked it, if you can hear your caller then you are sure that the smaller speaker is faulty. Also, you can try to use a very compatible earpiece or headset and see if you can hear your callers. If this happens to be the case there is only one way you can get this to work and that is by sending it to a qualified repairer as the phone requires serious expertise so as not to damage it an further. hope this solution helped solve your problem? please comment for more information and thank you for using the fixya.com website
Try and locate where the volume control of the phone is so that when your making calls, immediately the caller your calling picks up the call, increase the volume by the side of the phone.I think you will hear your caller clearer.
Hi, You have told that you can hear well only if you use your headphone or loudspeaker. From this it is obvious that there is no problem with your network but with the earpiece speaker present in your device. So replacing it under warranty is a way to solve this. moreover its only 2 months and so your device still covered under warranty.
just need a new earpiece speaker or it simply needs to be adjusted into place. If there is no repair shop around you or you do not want to mess with it, then just buy a $20 bluetooth headset to bypass the whole earpiece.
Your ear speaker is bad. You may need to replace it.. This one made by HTC. You can check on Ebay for replacement part. Other issue could be is the hardware part of the ear speaker may be broken or defected will cause loosing contact with the main circuit or you can say it is short. Only solution is open the phone and check for that area to see for any defective.
