Question about Panasonic Phones

Open Question

I purchased expandable digital cordless answering system model kx-tg333. The question is that we travel out of our state during the winter for 3-4 months. When we leave the phone system will be unpluged. Should we remove the batteries? Also, because of the length of time the phone system will not be used, will we lose all of the phone numbers we entered? Will the batteries need to be replaced or can we re-charge them for seven hours?? Any other information you can provide is appreciated. Thanks.

SOURCE: My telephone system (KX-T-7633)cuts out

When you say the system cuts out, I assume that you are talking and the call just drops. Does this happen on all outside lines as well as all phones? If it does, the problem could be the circuit board that the line connects to in the system. If so, hopefully you have some kind of warranty. You will need to have the board replaced. It is possible that it is your local provider of your dialtone that is having with your line. Have them check it.

Hope this helps

I have 2 three cordless phone sets. Can I make them have the same frequency?

Unless they're all from the same manufacturer, probably not. Event if they are, it will be difficult. They use "rolling codes" so they can't be intercepted.

Model purchased in USA and installed in India. Caller id is subscribed and other phones shows the calling number but this phone KX-TG6431 does not

Only stupids buy cordless phone from USA. India uses ETSI DTMF standard for Caller ID which is not supported by any cordless phone sold in USA. It is about time you trash your worthless instrument in the dumpster.
