Locking the Keypad of my Uniden Cordless Phone

Try holding down the * (star button) bottom left of numeric keypad.
Wait unit you hear the beep.
Repeat same to lock.

3 things to try.
1. Press the # key for 15 seconds. If nothing happens
2. Press the * key for 15 seconds. If nothing happens
3. Unplug the battery from the phone. Wait 5 seconds then plug it back in.

One of these options should resolve your problem.
