There should be a wire harness that clips into the side of the amp if you dont have the clip u can just use some end conecters and hook it up to the two pins that are on the side and hook that to the remote wire.

pioneer gm 6500 is a 4 ch amp rated at 60w-4 way to small of an amp to run your sub. UNDER-POWERING your sub is more likely to damage spkr than over-powering. my advice, get mono-block to run sub

I have installed my gm3400t amp but it will not turn on. Have verified power and ground. Light will not come on. Can you help?

Did you check the remote wire? Make sure it is hooked to the radio is wired directly to the amp. You need to verify that there is 0.5 amps coming through the remote wire. If this is ok, then there is a problem with your amps power supply. (that is if you did verify by multimeter that your power and ground are good). Hope this helps.

I am hooking up a pioneer super tuner d. It has an illusion wire and a positive dimmer wire. What are these wires for?

You need a hot wire red and a ignition wire yellow and ground for power. Hope this helps plus the speaker wires. Hooked up. If using a amp then you would use the blue wire for a remote wire to amp.

Hi, you can split the preamp RCAs with Ys available everywhere. The amp input impedance shouldn't cause much load on the head unit. Let us know if you have more questions, and thanks for using FixYa.

I have a gm-h100 amp. The three prong plug is for a remote turn on. Mine has two wires one of which goes to the radio where it gets a power on sigonal (12 volts when the radio is on). the other wire goes to the an accesory fuse where it gets 12 volts when the key is turned on. the amp needs both of these before it will run
