There should be a wire harness that clips into the side of the amp if you dont have the clip u can just use some end conecters and hook it up to the two pins that are on the side and hook that to the remote wire.

I have a gm-h100 amp. The three prong plug is for a remote turn on. Mine has two wires one of which goes to the radio where it gets a power on sigonal (12 volts when the radio is on). the other wire goes to the an accesory fuse where it gets 12 volts when the key is turned on. the amp needs both of these before it will run

Witch is better

hi there. ill start with the wiring. you should have a blue remote lead going to the back of your head unit, the power cable running straight from the amp to the battry, the earth should be earthed in a fairly decent place, any metal inside the car realy, and then your wires pos and neg from the amp to the subs. the reason why the kenwood might not have much base on it is to my knowledge, there should be a switch somewhere on the amp that will increase or decrease the power input for the speakers, if this is set very low then hense why theres not much base comming from them. if the amp is on and its giving something to the subs it probably isnt the wiring. try checking the amp for the switch first, if you cant find it try the pioneer amp and see if theres any diference.
dont hesitate to contact me if you get stuck

cheers, adam

Pioneer GM-7300M 800 Watt amp will not power on

This may have a different type of triggered turn on wire. On some of the older Pioneer amps (and maybe some new ones) the trigger wire would SUPPLY B+ TO THE RADIO and when the radio was switched on the amp would sense a current draw on that wire and would then switch on. Unlike most common amps which sense the presence of B+ on the trigger wire supplied by the radio and then turn on. Look in your owners manual to see kind of turn on system you have. If you don't have an owners manual then perhaps you can download one from Pioneer support. good luck
