Question about Whirlpool Duet GHW9150P Front Load Washer
Have you received any assistance with your washing machine not starting. My machine just started to do the very same thing yesterday.
I have not. I called a repairman and he ended up replacing the main control board and the door lock assembly. Combined with labor and tax came to $304.00. Part number for the control board is 8182221. The door lock assembly part number is 8182634. My washer is working fine now. The repair man wasn't sure if these two parts would do the trick and if not a new relay was needed, that part would be another $140.00. He stated that Whirlpool recommended replacing both parts that he installed at the same time.
I considered buying a new top loader, which would have been cheaper if the relay was needed. Luckily, the relay wasn't needed. Shop around for the parts to get the best price, as the price from place to place can vary greatly. Good Luck!
