I have a 1993 gmc suburban 1500 in it dont start up at all dont make no nose when u turn the key.it use to act crazy like run great all day intel u turn it off then it wont start back up intel later u will have to keep turnin the key intil it start..i another starter on it thinking it whats that but it was'n.can u tell me what u think..

Have you looked at fuel pump and fuel filter? Turn key to first position and have someone near fuel tank. They should hear the pump cycle.

Idle air control (IAC) control rpm idle during idle.

Test it on idle with ALL electrical on full force.
RPM should increase.
If RPM remain the same then IAC is question.

Neutral Safety Switch ? located at the bottom of the steering column. Mine is tricky, have to pull the shift lever while turning over to get it started. happened after i replaced ignition switch & Neutral Safety Switch

hi reset it by disconnecting the live battery connection for3 mins then re connect that has done it for me if this helps please rate it thanks

Anytime you have an odor of RAW GASOLINE, it is wise to discontinue the running of the engine till it located and corrected. Neglecting this fact could lead to an UNHEALTHY situation. Hoping you're getting my message. The reason it develops the problem after sitting a day is because the fuel that is SUPPOSED to be waiting in the fuel rail for the engine to start , has now leaked out and is not there FOR THE ENGINE TO RUN, so it cranks, NO START. Hope this helps.
