Question about HP Office Equipment & Supplies

1 Answer

I have a couple of issues with my HP Officejet 4300 All-in-one series. 1. I am trying to pay a bill over the phone, I dial the number then obviously go through all the prompts, punching in the numbers, then I input credit card numbers and just when I come to the end the phone will not accept anymore numbers.....it just beeps. Can you help. 2. I have adjusted the ringtone etc. but when someone calls in the volume is so soft I can hardly hear them on the other end.....and I'm not old so its not my hearing. Can I adjust the volume. Getting reading to take this item back to the store, so I hope you can help. It is only 3 weeks old. Thanks mr. fix it.......I hope you can. Gail

I understand that their is a max imput of characters, that is my problem.... but how do I get around this. Not sure if you have paid a bill over the phone but it is necessary to go through prompts, enter billing account details then your credit card details so obviously these amount of digits would exceed 32.

As to the volume....obviously I went through the book to check for the VOLUME control. With this machine it will only adjust volume on ring tone.............so with this information I am still no better off with my answers.

I think the maximum number input is 32 characters.

Why not plug a regular phone into the TEL port on your fax machine and use it to pay your bills by telephone.

I'll keep looking for an answer to the Volume problem. I had a customer insist I KILL the speaker, so I had to stab it with a screw driver.

OfficeJet 4315. When receiving faxes, why does it print blank pages?

Hi Ljiljana Tubic,

I would be happy to help you with your Officejet 4315. I understand your faxes are printing but there is no ink on the page. I suggest using the following document to troubleshoot the issue:

If the issue persists, what you can do, is use the following link to create yourself a case number, then call and it may help speed up the call process:

Step 1. Open link: h22207 www2 hp com
Step 2. Enter Product number or select to auto detect
Step 3. Scroll down to "Still need help? Complete the form to select your contact options"
Step 4. Scroll down and click on: HP contact options - click on Get phone number

Case number and phone number appear.

Best of luck.

Can receive faxes but can't send

It almost seems your HP machine is arbitrarily denying you access to long distance numbers. Try referring this issue directly to HP for an explanation.
