- the closed lid is broke. now if there is a dvd movie in player it reads no disc and will not play where do i get this fix or is it worth it.- julybosticSolution #1

You can trick the player into thinking the cover is closed and still play DVD's.
Open the lid and notice the small button on the top right side. Pressing the button will simulate the "lid down" so the disks will play.
You can even see the cool red laser when there is no disk.
