I have a Harmon/Kardon model:HK695-01,13. 2.1 speaker system. the satellite speaker seems like the are blown. Do I have to discard the whole system and get a new setup or can they be repaired? As the sub-woofer works fine. Please let me know if you can; thanks.

And what are the parts I might need, if you know...?

I have the same problem. I know it's the sub woofer section because other speakers systems work when I test them out. The sub woofer section has power (I checked the fuse and the power light is green on the top) and the satellite speakers all show power at the top (and they work when I plug them directly into another audio device). When I do turn the sub woofer section on, I do hear a slight "thunk" within 3 seconds, so it is powering up.

Is there some sort of reset on the system or is it trashed?

4. Your volume settings are too low or muted. Increase your volume by pressing the + key located on top of the right satellite. You can also check your volume through the volume control located in the taskbar. To mute and unmute the speakers, press the + and - controls at the same time.

How do I disassemble + clean Harmon Kardon SoundStick subwoofer?

Check for a Fuse. Mine is an older model and has a Fuse right next to the power cord. It probably has a slot for a flathead screwdriver.
