How do you remove the lower handle?

Check the clean water holding tank. I had this problem and found that was a crack near the outlet on the bottom of the tank. I replaced the tank and resolved the problem. I have taken this machine apart several times, if the tank is not the problem with yours, check the water tube.

How do i disassemble my hoover f7220

Hi there! The tanks, brushes, nozzle and handle can be removed from the cleaner by following these quick steps below.

1. To remove the clean water tank simply grasp the handle and push down on handle to unlock it, then pull the tank out by the handle.
2. To remove the dirty water tank, slide the latches open located on the sides of the cleaner that hold the tank to the base of the cleaner. Grasp the handle and pull up and off.
3. For brush removal, with the handle in the upright position, tilt cleaner back until handle rests on floor. Grab brush assembly and pull firmly.
4. To remove the nozzle, with handle in upright position, tilt cleaner back until handle rests on floor. Pull tab at rear edge of nozzle and pull forward to remove nozzle.
5. For handle removal simply remove the handle screw and lift up on handle.

Disassembly beyond this point is not recommended. Hope this helps!

I have a bissel pro heat 2x and it wont spray

I love these and have 2 of them! The warrantees are usually good and it is your pump if both the hand held and carpet positions won't spray water. Both the soap tank and water resevoir need to have at the very least water in both for the unit to work. Yes... You can use just hot water for light cleaning in both. The pump controls both the spraying water and suction. Last, if one or the other won't spray, the unit can have residue blockage. The passages are narrow, check to see if they are clean. Last test. Turn it on, release the handle. At the base of the neck there will be an oval shaped opening. With the handle on the floor as if filling the unit with water...put either your hand or a paper plate over the hole to see if there is suction. If the pump is good, you will feel a lot of suction against your hand or the flat surface of the plate.

How do you get the water tank out to fill on the bissell pro-heat

release the handle until it sits all the way flat. At the top of the water tank there is a folded down gray handle, lift that up and then pull up on the handle and it should come straight up. Then you need to push that gray handle all the way forward so that the lid will pull up, and you then pour the clean water into the small round opening in the top of the open tank.

Water drains out the bottom of cleaner as soon as tank is attached.

You don't say where the water is leaking from i.e. the back or the front. It likely is coming from the back. There is a connection to the "seat" that the tank sits in. There is a small hose that delivers the solution from the tank to the pump in the machine and I have seen them break off at the valve under the handle. If this is the case, the valve will have to be replaced.
