What printer driver are you using? Make sure, if you are using Die Cut Labels that you have the driver set for die cut and not continuous.

de-install then re-install the printer driver.
also if it has multiple interfaces (such as serial and parallel) be sure to load the appropriate driver.

The printer is dirty sensor label or no label is calibrated. Turn off the printer and press FEED, CANCEL, PAUSE and turn on, release the keys to advancing the label, and let print be calibrated. Roberto Martinez Mexico [email protected]

It turns out that I kept overlooking one printer setting. It was set for thermal printing rather than direct.

The printer driver should be set to Continuous or it will think it is still Gap or Black Mark. Please adjust accordingly

Were the new labels thermal paper? Thermal printers need specially made paper to work right.

That issue can happen aswell if when sending a job to the printer with wrong settings, it will overrwrithe the previose settings of the printer.
you can untick the setting " use printer settings" at drivers as well.
if you need diferent driver go to www.seagulldrivers.com - this driver let you to resett printer to factury defaults. Hope it helps.Paulo.

Hi, when I try to print to a networked GK420t, it prints the first page then feeds two and a half labels and then flashes a red light. At which stage it completely loses network - pings time out.

The problem that you are facing can be resolved by doing a reset on the printer and then setup the printer on the network again. This will resolve the issue.

When i try print the label..no output at the label..how to test whether the ink is function or not

I'm including this link to the users manual:

http://www.zebra.com/id/zebra/na/en/index/resource_library/manuals.results.html

But here is the basic troubleshooting info for that issue

No print on the label. The media may not be direct thermal media when printing without ribbon (i.e. thermal
transfer). See the test procedure

Determining Thermal Media Types on page 29.
• For thermal transfer printers, the media may not be outside wound or approved for use in
the G-Series printer. See the following ribbon test procedures: Ribbon Test with Adhesive
on page 32

and Ribbon Scratch Test on page 33.
• Is the media loaded correctly? Follow the instructions for

Loading Roll Media on page 11
in the Getting Started section. For printing using transfer ribbon, see

Loading Transfer Ribbon
on page 14.

Hi there i would like to know whether is there

You can use FAN-Fold Labels with the GK420 Printer. If you look at the back of the printer you should see a slot where you can feed the labels into the printer.

Hope that helps.

You need to add the ^POI or ^PON command to your format on your host system. Look it up in the manual to see which is right for your app.

You could also get labels that are wound the other way on the roll. Inner wound vs. outer wound.

Out of paper error in Zebra 110XiIII plus

There is a small thumb screw under the paper guide that has an adjustable stop to hold the paper. If you load it correctly, you should have one on each side to guide the paper into the printer. Also, the machine has either a roller or a bar to hang the labels on, correct? The bar has an adjustable stop to keep the roll from moving around while you print. You may want to setup the media sensor about 1 cm from the left of the printer to make it less subject to this type of error. They come from the factory very close to the edge of the paper to allow for some card printers to work well out of the box. Most people use labels and this is not necessary. I hope I have given you some helpful information.
