Question about Philips DVP5140 DVD Player
My Phillips DVP3960 is asking for a password when I put a dvd in it, this just started.
I had the password problem with the Phillips DVP-5140. I looked up the user manual on the Phillips website and searched for "password". There is a manufacturer default password of 136900. I entered that number and was then able to play the DVD. The password may be different for other models, but you can find the default in the user manual for your specific model.
