No power, 1st you need a tester tester (range 1000vac) first the convinience outlet if there a voltage 2nd test the power cord if there a continuity(range your tester into resistance x10) put it in to the tip to tip of the C.O power cord of your turntable(the reading will have contunuity) if still no power check the fuse inside the turntable" remove the platter and the plastic be carefull trace where the power cord connect inside the circuit(maybe the fuse blown) if the fuse is still ok 4th check the contunuity of the transformer the input and output line(in tester there will have a reading supposed to be) after all if theres still aproblem just email me..hope i can help that way..

No power when plugged in ? Is there a fuse ?

The best way to find out is remove the base of the deck. You should see the power supply then. If the deck is main's powered the transformer will be seen. Some have fuses built into them, so it needs checking. Some decks use a mechanical switch to turn on the motor. That can break or stop engaging. But this will only apply if the deck doesn't have a power light indication. A deck with an on off switch for the power can also suffer a broken switch.

Thomas pacconi # tpc-mse-800-o (no power)why is there no power getting through hole unit?

Since you have no sound even on radio, it's not going to be a bad tt motor. There is no fuse except for a thermal fuse inside power transformer. I would start with a continuity check accross both of the blades on the plug. If it's open, you prob have a bad power transformer.

Plug in sldz 1200 no power tried another cord same no power changed out fuse with same amps and volt from radio shack still no power so im stuck help please.

You need to use a ohm meter (you can get one cheap) and find out if the power switch is working. You can also determine with it if the power is getting into the turntable. If the switch is working and power is getting to it, then either the transformer has failed or something is wrong in the power supply section.

Cannot power up turntable

There's not much to a turntable power supply. The most common fault is the power switch is broken. An internal fuse could have failed, the transformer dead and other power supply faults. You might want to take the bottom off and have a look inside.

A friend stupidly plugged his deck into a 120 volt power supply

More than likely the power supply / power transformer has blown. Although these units have fuses, they will not protect from such a power surge.

Have you lost power, or is the platter rotating abnormally? If there is no power, it's the power supply that needs to be replaced. If it's acting funning, then some components on the main drive PCB are damaged. In either case, professional help is highly recommended.

No Power to 1210s

Problem is not the fuses, but the power supply / power transformer has blown. This is why you should always wrap exposed wiring with electrical tape or heatshrink tubing.

The power supply can be purchased HERE, but this is not an easy replacement. And if you blew it by not properly replacing the Pop-up light, than I DON'T suggest you try to replace the power supply on your own either. You could really cause even more damage, and possible harm to yourself and your property.

The ac inside the player is broken

I have the same problem with my Crosley Turntable stereo. I've been able to determine the proble is the power Transformer. 115v in, and nothing out. I attached a separate transformer and it powered up. The problem that remains is finding the correct power rated transformer. The transformer that came built in has no information as to it's power rating.
