Deivis my sound device(output) not working,when i trying to start it says having problems with sound device

Some file which needed for the operating of that driver might have got corrupted or is not valid ...

once you try uninstalling and reinstalling the driver this will solve your problem ...

if you already did that & still persist the same problem then there may be some file missing in operating system . this might have happened due to some virus attack or while removal of some virus the file which is needed for the operation of that device might have got deleted accidentally ..

so just reinstall the operating system and then try installing the sound driver this will solve your problem ...

if you still persist the same problem then download the driver from net and install this solves your problem (there may be some problem in the driver which you are trying to install may be some file is missing)

so just following these steps your problem will be solved ...

I dont have sound in my pc.i dont know where to fix my problem


If you sue external speakers or headphones, follow these instructions. If you have a notebook computer & are using the onboard speakers, skip to the *Windows section below.

You can start by checking your speakers, if any. Make sure they are powered on and functional. You may also want to test there speakers on a different computer just to make sure.

If the speakers work on a different computer but YOURS still does not have sound, try a known-working set of headphones. Make sure the jack is seated correctly as it may be loose.

*Windows:
Check the volume controls on in Windows. If windows does not have any volume controls, then chances are, the sound drivers are not installed. Check your computer manual to find out what model it is, then visit the manufacturer's website to download the appropriate drivers and software for the sound card.

Note that if you have used external speakers or headphones anytime before this issue started, you may have to re-plug the device & unplug it again & allow Windows to detect that it's unplugged (for HD-capable audio devices in Windows Vista or 7).

If you do have HD audio in Windows Vista or 7, right-click on the volume control in the notification tray on the bottom-right corner of your screen and select "Playback devices"...

No sounds for movies


Does this card have 5.1 output or a combination of analog and digital output? If so when you go into
the movie player your using check to see how the options are setup do the options match your sound setup if your using a 2.1 sound system with the soundcard/movieplayer setup for 5.1 this
could easily cause the problem(or vice versa). Or if you have your sound system hooked up to analog sound and the movie player is using HDMI Check the settings with your movie player also check the settings under my computer-- control panel -- Sounds and Audio devices.

How to install audio output device to my computer?


connect the audio output device to the audio out 3.5mm jack of your sound card, it is usually lime-green in color.

The error says, "no audio output device is


if you are having problems with your sound
if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it
click start control panel administrive tools computer management device manager scroll to sound,video and game controllers you might see a yellow question mark? Right click to reinstall drivers
click start control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers make sure you have selected the
(((appropriate speakers))) also audio you will find 3 drop down lists make sure you have the correct settings there
also
click start control panel sounds and audio devices you can adjust the volume there also select speaker volume you can change your settings there you can also tick in the box place icon in taskbar
if his does not fix the problem

have you tried this control panel sounds and audio,volume,advanced,speakers select the appropriate speakers from the drop down list or navigate to the device manager scroll to system devices + to expand,system speaker right click properties then select use this device (enable) also you might check
the speakers plug/outlet is usually at the back of the computer you will have to open up the computer to check the lead attached to the rear of the input plug make sure the connection is good
try cleaning your computer of dust using a fine air blower from a compressor making VERY sure that there is no MOISTURE in the air line specifically around the sound card and the CPU central processing unit dust causes static to build up in a computer

My long standing WinAmp suddely started giving me the following message: "Bad Direct Sound driver, Please install proper drivers or select another device in configuration. Error code 88780078"

No sound


Hi,

  1. Open the Control panel
  2. Open the "Sounds and Audio Devices" icon.
  3. Verify the "Place volume icon in the taskbar" checkbox is checked. If this option is not available or is grayed out, skip to the next section of this document.
  4. If you were able to check this box, click ok and close out of this window and the Control Panel.
  5. Double-click the sound icon in the systray and verify that all the sound volumes are mid-way or higher.
OR Try below methods..

Method 1: Try another sound device loadTOCNode(2, 'resolution'); If possible, plug a different output device into the computer. For example, if you have been using speakers, try a different pair of speakers or a set of headphones to make sure that the problem is not related to the device itself.

Determine whether you can hear sound. If you can hear sound, there is a problem with the original output device and the issue is resolved. If you cannot hear sound, plug the original output device back into the computer and go to method 2.
Method 2: Use the Windows XP Sound Troubleshooter loadTOCNode(2, 'resolution'); Windows XP includes a troubleshooting program which could help you resolve your sound issues. HELP!!Setting up my Mbox1 as general sound output in my mac!!


I've had the same problem. I got it to work using Soundflower and LineIn.
Soundflower:

After installing soundflower, it should show up like a virtual soundcard in your sound prefs. Send your audio output to the soundflower 'card' in sound prefs. Then use LineIn to route the outpout from soundflower to the Mbox like this:

Input from: Soundflower (2ch)
Output to: Digidesign HW ( Mbox )

Problem with sound system


try to look on the control panel of your computer and find the sound effect manage or sound and audio devices. if still doesn't work then try to reinstall again your audio driver from your motherboard driver cd. it will solve the problem.

u can try this , please update the driver update for the same issue and update the driver for the sound device or please unistall and reinstalle the sound drivers on the system, or do systemrestore if it was working some days back .... check the
  1. Click Start , Run , and enter services.msc into the Open field. A services window opens.
  2. Scroll down the list of services and find Windows Audio.
  3. Right-click Windows Audio and select Properties .
  4. Select Automatic from the Startup type dropdown list, and click Start to start the audio service.
  5. Click OK and test for sound.

Output problem on DJ soundcard


have you recently upgraded any part of your hardware, software or operating system? I had one of these for a powerbook 3 years ago. And i used the software monitor to control the output busses, but Believe 1 is intended for monitor out, and the other for main out. So, ideally unless your processor or sound generating application can handle sending 2 separate signals, 1 to each out ( like serato or torq ) that is normal operation.
