Question about Sony Computers & Internet
I assume this is a CD drive that you are referring to. If it will not read any disk it is possible that the drive is bad or that the cables aren't connected properly.
You can verify that the drive is connected properly by closing all screens and opening My Computer and if you see the CD Rom listed there it should be fine.
Also, if when you insert a cd you here the cd spin up and start clicking about once every second it is very possible that the drive is bad.
