If you go the http://www.bmwusa.com/default.aspx and at the top of the page go to owners then owners manuals. Pick out your year, when that loads pick out your model. when that loads it will go to the page to download the manual but also towards the bottom of the page it has videos that show you in detail how to sync your phone. Very detailed and very helpful. I hope this helps you and good luck.

Pairing samsung galaxy 3

You need to find the bluetooth pairing code in your factory BMW manuals, it is on a sticker inside the sound system manual. Or if you cant find that, it is on the sticker on the bluetooth control module in the trunk, behind the trim panels.

I cannot paire any phone thrue bluetooth with my x5 BMW 2005

I know that 2004 BMWs used a Bluetooth protocol that is now obsolete. There are no longer any cell phones made that will pair with a 2004 BMW unless you get a very expensive upgrade to your Bluetooth module from BMW. Not worth it. When my wife got a new phone several years ago, she had to switch to aftermarket Bluetooth devices because as I recall, it was something like $2k to upgrade the Bluetooth in her '04 330i.
I was under the impression that 2005 BMWs use a more current Bluetooth communication protocol, but I don't know that for sure. If your car is an early 2005, I would suspect that perhaps it uses the same protocol as the '04s.

Bluetooth problems BMW car and Nokia N97

I'm afraid I can't solve your problem, but you're already one step further than I am: I have a 2004 E60 (525d touring) and it won't pair at all, the N97 doesn't even SEE the car's bluetooth. And my previous Nokia E61i paired, but never transferred the contactlist.

1999 BMW 328i bluetooth

your '99 might be "equipped with bluetooth" which means the car is wired for it, but may not have the module(s) for it. same is true for the 6 disc changer in the trunk on the LH side. its wired for it, but not necessarily has it installed.

call your BMW dealership (parts dept) with your VIN (actually the last 7 numbers is all they should need) and they can tell you if the car is "wired for bluetooth" or actually has bluetooth installed.
