Go to your mouse properties and see if you touchpad has been disabled on turned off. If that doesn't work - go to your device manager in your control panel and make sure your touch pad is installed correctlly. if it is, make sure it is enabled

My mouse pad enter not working tel me

"My mouse pad enter not working tel me"

First off, always remember when describing a computer problem or anything else for that matter, more is better. That being said, it is very hard to diagnose an issue such as the mouse pad enter is not working; it could be that the laptop was dropped and something in the hardware is loose and not connecting, especially if this happens all the time no matter what program or software you are in.
I would recommend that if you come on here and see this post to add more detail in the comments section.

I have a acer 5738z, so i have a touch pad off button near the touch pad, every time i turn it off and on the touch pad stops working, ive tried reinstalling the driver for this and no luck, i have to...

You should not have any reason for turning it off except if you have a mouse connected. If you have a mouse connected and you turn the touchpad off, the mouse is now your primary device until the next restart. Technically you are suppose to use one or the other not both at the same time.

Emachines laptop e525 mouse pad not working at all so cannot use everything else starting up as normal

Look at the middle cover (above the keyboard). there are two buttons that touch the power switch, the one to the left enables/disables the touchpad. If it shows an orange light it is disabled. Just press it, and be careful not to hit it when turning unit on.

Mouse pad not working

A mouse pad is a thing you put your mouse on....

now what you are talking about is your touchpad.

Check these first:

  • some laptops have a switch that turns off the touch pad (usually a button right on the topside of the touchpad)
  • did you reboot completely? full shutdown, then power on?
  • goto the device manager (with a usb mouse of course) and find the touchpad... delete the device... then reboot again it should try and find the touchpad and ask for the driver, point it to the directory that you have the driver located.
good luck!

Hello. For laptops there are several key combinations, FN+F1, F2 One of them disables/enables the mouse pad. Good luck!

I have a toshiba equium laptop and i am having problems with the mouse pad. It works ok when I plug in a mouse but not with the pad

Ok, i think I get what you are saying...correct me if I am wrong.

You have a desktop PC where the mouse will not work while it is on the mousepad?

If that is the case, check this: If it is a optical/laser mouse (a light on the bottom, instead of a ball) make sure your mousepad is not made from a reflective material like plastic. Try a fabric pad.

Hope this helps.
