Hi my tv wont turn on. No picture. Just a sound like a buzz. just a black screen.

Is it 3 sets of 2 buzzes about 15 seconds apart ?

or a continuous buzzing ?
----This is a Power Supply Unit going-bad or failed. The louder it gets the harder it is working....eventually it will fail. Ensure there is proper ventilation around your TV.

Ur tuner board is defective.Replace the tuner board will solved this problems.Tries websites like Shopjimmy.com,Ebay.com to buy a refurbish tuner board for the replacement.

Something has shorted in the set causing the power supply to make that buzzing sound. Most likely the short is in the horizontal circuit. The horizontal makes the high voltage work which in turn lights the picture tube.

Brother this is problem usually  when either the fly-back (picture tube transformer )or tube  voltage regulator  Transistor is damaged or the picture tube has a short

hi the problem is the picture tube of ur television has got damaged.. its better to replace a new picture tube...

As in almost all lcd type tv/monitor the backlight will go out and the inverter should be replaced at the same time. Your cost about 50.00 if you do it yourself.

I plug in my ps3 to my old tv and what appeard to me were the buzzing screen and its in black and white but the sounds is working perfectly just the buzzing fuzzing screen will it hav the same problem with HDMI Component on the HDMI TV ? PLZ help me Thx
