How to change time and date on my pc

are running a Windows computer you should place the mouse pointer over the date/time, usually at the bottom right corner of your screen. Right mouse click on the date/time and scroll down to "adjust date/time" and left mouse click on that. A window will appear allowing you to reset the date/time. You can also change the time zone to your particular time zone. Some O/S will allow you to select internet time, which automatically keeps the correct time.

I just purchased a eepc1001p and it wont boot up its giving a error message saying thatoleaut32dl

Hello.

If you purchased this computer new and it has a warranty, contact your supplier to return it. They should replace it when so new.

If you just purchased the computer from another person who owned this computer and it is no longer under warranty, return to that person, if possible.

If no longer under warranty and for whatever reason, you cannot return this computer and you need to try and fix, try System Restore. Boot your system to Safe Mode (press F8 repeatedly). Go to System Restore and choose a date several months back.

Hope this helps.

How can i solve system calender problem.I cant fix the date and time.

For immediate results in fixing the date and time on your computer, double click on the taskbar at the bottom of your Windows screen. This is located on the bottom right-hand corner of your screen. The date and time control panel on your computer will automatically open.

Adjust the Properties
Double click the clock. A smaller date and time properties menu will open as soon as you have double clicked on the time at the bottom of your Windows computer screen. To set the date and time on your personal computer, the process is quite simple. You can use your mouse to click on the correct day, month, and year. You will also see an image of a clock on the right-hand side of the properties menu that will display the corrected time that you have entered. When you are pleased with the corrections, simply click on the OK button on your computer screen. Most modern computers automatically adjust for daylight savings, but several older models do not. As a result, you will need to update the time as mentioned.

Time Zone
Adjust the time zone on your computer by clicking once on the time zone tab that is displayed on the same properties menu that opened when you clicked on the clock at the bottom of your computer screen. To set your time zone, you can choose the correct time zone from the drop down menu. Use the small arrow to show the options in the time zone menu on your computer. Once again, you can click OK when you are finished. If you choose to have your computer automatically updated for daylight savings, then be sure that the small box at the bottom of the time zone menu is checked.

I have a trojan that I can not get off my computer.

You can restore Windows XP to an earlier date, and that will restore your computer. That's the easiest way. You can get a free scan from MicroTrend at this site: http://housecall.trendmicro.com/. It will scan and quarantine viruses and trojans on your computer for free. I, personally, would try the restore option first. Go to "Help and Support", then pick Backup and Restore", then pick "Restore" and find a date before you started having problems. You won't lose any data or pics, etc.

Word automatically updates documents

Get rid of the date field. Just type the date instead.

You can set your personal options to not update the fields under Word Options, but it doesn't stop it from updating on someone else's computer.
