Take my word for it logitech is a little tricky to install sometimes.Try this uninstall.drivers.Reboot and go to logitech.com and install new drivers .Make sure they are the one's for your cam and os.install the drivers rReboot.. it usually doesnt disable the mic on webcam and go out and buy your self a logitech usb mic the quality is better and it works the web cams dont work ever and always conflicting with other irq'd software
I don't think many people have a trouble free web cam, whatever make or model of pc or web cam.
I get echo and feed back; if that's wot you mean by static, or do you litterly mean static.
Helps to have your volume down a touch and the person who you are speaking to also, especially if it has a built in microphone(sorry, not checked your model), a seperate microphone is best as it's away from any possible speaker feedback from your pc's speakers, or any other clse electrical interference.
