Slow changing channels

Same with our Insignia (19" LCD). Takes forever to change channels, and sluggish as heck in general. The viewing angle is poor, and the screen is not adjustable... We have a paperback book under the back part of it's flat base, so we can actually see the picture, without distortion and the shiny, aka "off the optimal viewing angle" silvery look. The picture (when watching it straight-on) and sound is fine, but the slow/sluggish performance, the tiny info and memo text, etc. makes it pain to use. Yes, It was "only" $100 + tax, but it should have a better, more acceptable performance and feature set.

Why does my LCD HDTV go to a blue screen when changing channels

if using a box it may be normal but not nice, I would suspect the set is a bit slow reacting to signal change. I remember some nasty JVC sets that when going up or down a channel the screen would blank for about two seconds and come on, normal since all those had that feature(no channel surfing)>

It could be interference in your area from microwave, cordless phone, or other wireless routers nearby. Try changing the router channel from 1,6, or 11. You could also try setting it up as mixed 802.11b,g,n

Internet fails every day and i have to unplug modem wait afew minutes and internet comes back

Try changing your wireless channel.
Home wireless networks based on the 802.11b or 802.11g standards transmit their signal in a narrow radio frequency range of 2.4 GHz. Various other electronic devices in a home, such as cordless phones, garage door openers, baby monitors, and microwave ovens, may use this same frequency range. Any such device can interfere with a Wi-FI home network, slowing down its performance and potentially breaking network connections.
The 2.4 GHz Wi-Fi signal range is divided into a number of smaller bands or "channels," similar to television channels. Many wireless products ship with a default Wi-Fi channel of 6. If encountering interference from other devices within the home, consider changing the channel up or down to avoid it. Some Wi-Fi channel numbers overlap with each other. Channel 1 uses the lowest frequency band and each subsequent channel increases the frequency slightly. Therefore, the further apart two channel numbers are, the less the degree of overlap and likelihood of interference.
If this won't work, Then consider buying a new wireless router as your current is deemed broken.

Comcast remote: all of a sudden channel input is slow

Unplug the cable box from the wall socket, wait a few seconds, and then plug it in again. I've heard that this solution works.

Slow Channel Changing

The question really is whether or not the set has always had this problem. If not, then we need to look at a possible problem with either the power supply or the tuner. Can you update this and indicate whether or not this is a new problem?

As far as using an external device (cable box or Tivo), if the tuning is done with either type of external box, then the TV would be on a fixed channel so yes, the problem woud go away.
