UNIT OF MEASURE OPTIONS The YARDAGE PRO TOUR can be used to measure distances in yards or meters. The unit of measure indicators are located in the upper right portion of the LCD. To select between yards and meters, look through the monocular, depress the "mode" button (left side of the unit underneath the BUSHNELL YARDAGE PRO logo) and hold it down for approximately 2 seconds. If you are changing from yards to meters, a change in unit of measure will be indicated by the illumination of the letter M for METER indicator while the YD for YARD indicator is turned off. If you are changing from meters to yards, the opposite will occur. Note: The YARDAGE PRO TOUR will return to the last setting used, each time the unit is turned on.
1 yard = .9144 meters
I am guessing that is not the answer you want but more like how to change the reading from yards to meters on your compact 800 measuring unit

no manual , download one from the web site for the manufacturer
The TOUR V3 can be used to measure distances in yards or meters. The unit of measure indicators are located in the lower

begin to cycle through the setup options: Yards w/JOLT, Yards, Meters w/JOLT, Meters (for details on the JOLT feature, see "About JOLT"). When the units and JOLT mode you want to use are displayed, release the POWER/FIRE button to
select it. If you are changing from yards to meters, a change in unit of measure will be indicated by the illumination of the
M for meter indicator while the Y for Yard indicator is turned off. If you are changing from meters to yards, the opposite
will occur. The TOUR V3 will return to the last unit of measure setting used each time the unit is turned on.

1
Understand the formula.
Converting units of measurements always requires a specific formula. The
procedure from yards to meters is X (yards) multiplied by "0.9144"
meters.
2
Write your formula with the number of yards. Multiply by "0.9144." For example, 100 yards * 0.9144 =?.
3
Use a calculator. In the example above, 100 yards * 0.9144 =?, the answer is 91.44 meters.

Bumps and bruises add up.....sounds like its out of alignment. Make sure it is not reading in meters "M'"instead yards:"Y" then, if it will hit a target only at about 150-200 yards....it needs an alignment.
About 50 bucks for align, 15 bucks for LCD if you have those oily looking swiggles. ( or black, brown etc). All other general maintenace is 15. Shipping and handling cost 10.
Hold down the "MODE" button until the "M" starts to flash......touch the mode button again till the "Y" flashes........then touch the "FIRE" button on top.....(square button) Then it will be set to read in yards....not meters.
