if your computer came with a motherboard disc the sound drivers could be on it

click start control panel administration tools computer management device manager scroll to sound video and game controllers you might see a yellow question / exclamation? ! mark or a red X Right click to reinstall drivers

you will need to download the newest drivers for your motherboard, make sure you download the right ones for your operating system. I used to go to the manufacturer's website to do this all the time but now i'm lazy and i just google: (motherboard model) drivers download. By the way i don't ever mess with disks anymore because its bound to be outdated by the time you get it.. they make good coffee mug coasters though.

were you not given a disk of drivers sith your motherboard? That disk should have had the drivers for the on-board audio hardware.

After I have formatted my computer, there is no sound out of my computer. I want to get sound driver,but I can't find one.

i have Intel(R) Desktop Boards D946GZIS and D946GZTS.this is my pc mother board.i cant install sigma tel audio driver.if i install it says "device not present restart and setup again".how can i solve this problem anyone knows please tell me..............

try reinstalling the audio driver ... there is some conflict or bcoz of some problem it is not installed correctly....
