Question about Casio Parts Cash Register PC Desktop
Our store carries a sharp(brand name) electronic cash register model XE-A41S. well yesterday we were busy serving customers and then i pressed this button cant remember what button but after pressing that button everything went blurr. all the items and prices we press it says not assigned? what is the problem?
This is a very common error message. You have simply logged yourself off of the machine, and it is telling you that no-one is assigned to use this register. You need to log back on.
Now, it depeds upon whether anyone has changed the key labels. If not, then look for a button called:
On your model, I think it is the CLK# along the top row. It will usually be along the top of the keyboard, or near the paper feed button(s).
You need to press 1 on the number pad, then CLK# (or whatever it is labelled). This will log operator 1 onto the machine. Do this in REG mode by the way. If you get it right, most Sharps will show '-01-' on the display.
Then you should be able to use it again.
