Power supply my printer will not turn on but the little green lite is lit on the power supply at the back can you help

Unplug the printer from the wall and re-plug it in. The printer will then work fine.

E27 is flashing


Try the following steps:
  1. Turn off your printer then press the Power button while pressing and holding the Stop/ Reset button.

  2. When the Power is lit, press the Stop/Reset button twice while pressing and holding the Power button.

  3. When you release the Power button and the Stop/ Reset button, your printer will move into a service mode.

  4. When the on/off lights is in green, press the Stop/Reset button 4 times. You will then notice that each time the Stop/Reset button is pressed, the LED lights alternately in orange and green.

  5. Turn off your printer.

  6. Turn on your printer.

  7. If unsuccessful go back to first step and try again.

Printer will not turn on the little light on front is on ther is pwer to the printer


Hi there !

Check the power supply if your accidentally plug your printer to 110 volts and surely it will not print and as you mention that there is a little on the printer.

If not turn off your computer. Turn your printer and remove the power supply cable from the power supply and to the printer and return the power connection back firmly. Turn on your printer and computer and try to print again.

The printer should turn on even without the cartridges yet. Try this. Make sure the power cord is plugged in straight to the wall. Bypass any surge device or power strips. Unplug the power supply from the printer. It's the black box behind the printer where the power cord is plugged in. With the power cord still plugged in to the power supply, the LED around the contacts should lit solid green. If not, make sure the power cord is properly secured. If this does not help, you may have a defective power supply. If it does, insert it back in the printer in the correct position. Plug it hard just to make sure. If it does not power on automatically, press the power button. If this does not help either, I strongly suggest you contact Lexmark Technical Support for further assistance. Thanks.

With the green light lit on the power box or power supply of the printer, that indicates that there is power flowing. But just to make sure it's getting enough to power the printer on, bypass any power strips or extensions, if you're using one, and plug the power cord straight to a known working power outlet. Make sure the power box or the power supply is inserted all the way in the slot and in the correct position behind the printer. Press the power button if needed. Hope this helps. Is there power coming out from the supply end
Is is a DC or and AC output supply?
If is it an AC output supply tyhebm in the back of the HP had an AC to DC converted that is realy a diode bridge and should contain a fuse in the circuit somewhere on that board

My printer is blinking orange lite


Hi there ok try
1. Turn off printer
2. Hold down Resume button and press Power button.
3. Keep holding down Power button and let Resume button go.
4. Press Resume button 2 times then let BOTH buttons go.
5. Green lights will flash and then stop blinking.
6. When green lights are solid, press the Resume button 4 times.
7. Press the Power button and the printer should turn off, if not, press the Power button once more.
8. Your printer should respond as normal

Dell 924 all in one printer. Failure to switch off.


Take out the power cable and keep it unplugged for 30 minutes.reboot the computer as well. Plug back and turn it back on. Should be as good as new.

Your printer was pawered ON during the Lightening if yes then follow the steps, Try with the different power card if it having the same problem then most probably your printer fuse blown open the printer and check the fuse if the fuse are OK then please check with the service centres

The all-in-one product does not turn on If the all-in-one product does not turn on at all, try the following actions in order to determine the cause:
  1. Unplug the power supply from the wall outlet.
  2. Unplug the power supply from the back of the printer.
  3. Remove the product cable from any power strips or surge suppressors, and plug it directly into a grounded (three-prong) wall outlet.
  4. Wait at least 20 seconds, then, plug in the supply back into the wall outlet.
  5. Plug in the power supply back into the printer.
  6. Press the power button to turn the printer on.
  7. For models that have an external power supply module, verify that the power supply module is plugged in correctly. Some power supply modules have a green LED built into the connector end or on the power supply module. This LED will be lit if power is present. If the LED is not lit, replace the power supply module.
  8. Plug the power cord into a different electrical outlet. If the all-in-one product has an ADF with an external cable plugged into the back of the product, use the following procedure:
    1. Turn off the unit.
    2. Unplug the power cable from the wall outlet.
    3. Unplug the ADF cable from the back of the product.
    4. Plug the ADF cable to the back of the product.
    5. Plug in the power cable to the wall outlet, and turn on the power.
      1. If no change, the problem is not the ADF.
      2. If the problem clears, turn off the all-in-one, unplug the power cable, and reconnect the ADF.
      3. If the error returns, the ADF is defective. Contact HP Customer Care to get the ADF replaced.
  9. Disconnect the computer parallel cable from the back of the all-in-one product and try to turn on the product again. The computer might be grounding out through the parallel port. If this corrects the issue, check the grounding of the computer and outlet.

Printer will not turn on


The all-in-one product will not turn on If the all-in-one will not turn on at all, follow the steps below in order to determine the cause:

  2. Verify that the computer and the all-in-one product have a three-prong power plug.
  3. Remove the product cable from any power strips or surge suppressors, and plug it directly into a grounded (three-prong) wall outlet.
