Bought an open box Lg lcd floor model, everything works fine, able to change settings (picture, sound etc.) but when i go into the lock setting, four digit code is required as though someone in the store put one in. Is there anyway of wiping that out without taking the device apart?
If everything works fine and you're able to change settings (picture, sound etc.) why do you want to go into the lock setting? That's the service menu. The manufacture put it there for a reason and only qualified techs with the proper equipment should be in there. Also know if you decide to start typing in random numbers you run the risk of locking your tv and voiding any warranty you may or may not have.

When turning on my LG 42 in. HD LCD TV, I have to turn it on and off for some time before the screen shows a signal. What is the problem and can it be fixed?
