Sounds like the battery is probably faulty. If it is more than 6 months old that is the most likely cause, especially if you tend to use it plugged in a lot or plug it in for short periods.

Xantrex XPower PowerPack 300 will not charge even after replacing both battery and adapter. What else can I try?

Either charger has an issue or new battery is boogus. Check charger output for specs. Subject battery to a few discharge/charge cycles. If charger is definitely good and battery will not charge fully after a few cycles then you have confirmed that new battery is bogus.

Power light flashing amber

Follow the steps given below. (Please be careful when handling computer electrical components like batteries and AC Adapters)
  • Remove the battery and hold down the power button for few seconds (to drain all remaining power)
  • Power up the computer without the battery with the A/C adapter plugged in.
  • Wait for few seconds and plug the battery back in
After a few tries the computer should start charging normally. The amber battery stops blinking and turn green when fully charged.

Can not run netbook off battery even though battery shows fully charged' When charger is removed netboook will not turn on

Make sure the battery is fully inserted and clicks in to the netbook body. Your battery may also be showing that it's charged but is actually dead. Try a new battery and see if it solves your problem.

Hi mine show fully charged drilled 1 6mm hole and went flat yet sometimes is ok

Try fully discharging the battery first and let it sit for a few days. Then fully recharge before use. What happens with battery operated drills is the batteries develop what is called memory of the charge level when they are recharged and will not charge past that point but the charge light will show full charge. It happens when the drill is used for a period of time and then the battery is placed in the charger ready for next time instead of using the drill until it is flat or leaving a partially used drill on the bench and not recharging it until it is flat

I have an Augen netbook and though fully charging the battery, the indicator says it's only half charged once I disconnect the charger. I need to fix this, if possible as I bought it on sale and thre are...

Recommend you compare the Volt & Amp reading on both the A/C adapter & Netbook.
The Volt & Amps will be on the underside of the netbook.
The Volt & Amps will be listed on the A/C adapter (wall charger).
Compare the numbers:

Example: 19Volts / 3.9 Amps

These numbers SHOULD match between the netbook & A/C adapter.

Power and mouse probelm

Hello,

there is something wrong with your battery even though the laptop shows that the battery is fully charged.

You need to get another battery for your laptop as the one you are using presently cannot hold charge, that is, the cell in the battery is weak.

Good luck.

and whats more they they dont even give warranty on batteries for more than 6 months.

so U'll have to get new one. Sorry
