Question about GPS
Verify that plug is inserted fully and that the outlet is live. If that is good, then try the reset button which is hidden under the faceplate. Unsnap and remove the trim ring from the front by pulling with a fingernail under the logo. Press the reset button. If still no joy, check fuse in power plug by unscrewing silver nut on end of plug. If none of this works, then you might have a battery failure or other internal failure.
