In other words hans doesn' t need drivers, it is plug and play

Hello, The monitor will work fine on any OS, the driver package just will fine tune color balancing, you can use your monitor in windows XP without the drivers installed and you will not have any problems.

Monitors don't need drivers, video cards do. You will need to find out your exact model of video card by running this program:
http://www.piriform.com/speccy
then go to the site of its manufacturer and you will find its exact driver there, in the Downloads section.

Monitors don't really use drivers as such, windows will pick up the monitor and install a driver.

there is no driver just for vista - people are finding out that the problems with the monitors is if you are use a nvidia driver that your monitor is acting wierd - use the problem you have in search to help you resolve the monitor problems good luck -

Step-by-step guide for install HANNS.G HU171D driver.

1. Download file for HANNS.G HU171D from our site, save it on your computer and unzip.

2. Connect your HANNS.G HU171D to computer.

3. Right click on My computer and click Properties. Go to Hardware tab. Click to Device Manager button.

4. Find your new HANNS.G HU171D on Lcd monitors category double click on device and press Reinstall Driver button.

5. Select Install from specific location, check Include this location and click Browse button to select the Hanns.gdriver click Next button to continue and click Finish button to finish installation.
