Hey there,

Let me guess. You have a Panasonic SA series receiver.

I hate to say this, but the music is going to be delayed. You are not alone with the dread 'f61' error. It occurs for a lot of reasons. The cause is a burned out IC.

But it's fixable. Learn more:

I did a little more searching on the causes (and solution) of your 'F61' error.

According to the manual, it is a fault with AC power or the speakers. (Not!!)

According to Panasonic Customer Support (and I quote):

"Thank you for your email enquiry.

To clarify, the F61 that has been displayed is a self-diagnostic fault
code, requiring attention by a qualified engineer. This is not an inherent
fault with the product but a guide for the engineer to know where, within
the product, he should seek the cause of the problem.

We suggest that the product is submitted to either your retailer or to an
authorised service agent for attention. Those in your local area can be
found through our website;"

(This is a copy of the e-mail response, the spelling errors are theirs, not mine.)

Thereal cause is heat. There is an Integrated Circuit (STK470-050) thathas become notorious for failing throughout the Panasonic SA Series.

WhilePanasonic's suggestion to take it to a qualified dealership does meritconsideration, they may charge you morethan it would cost to replace.

Ifyou were inclined to fix it yourself,. If you also have experience with a soldering gun andpatience, you can fix it yourself for under Forty dollars.

Belowis a link to a discussion page devoted to 'F61' Errors. Some of themgot tired of waiting and found a way to fix it themselves.

What you're looking for is a post by 'ragtop67gto'.
It's an excellent step by step of the fix. The decisionto fix it will depend on your comfort level with a soldering gun. Butit will be an informed decision.

Click here for a source to purchase the IC chip.

Bottom Line:

  • If you know your way around the interior of a stereo, you can fix it yourself. (90% effective)
  • Bring it to an authorized service agent (90% effective)
  • Other than that, it's history.
Just trying to be thorough. If you need further info let me know. (click the ASK button)

Even though the fix is involved, it's still a fix, don't forget to Rate this response.
Mike

(Personal Note: If you thought about fixing it yourself, even for a second; Go for it, little risk, high reward.)

Trying to hook up my nintendo 64 but there is no video or sound output??

External Speakers

Installation steps:
These steps work for Wii, Nintendo GameCube, Nintendo 64, and Super NES hookups.

Gently pull the yellow cable of the Stereo AV cable apart from the two Audio cables (red & white). Plug the yellow cable into the Video Input on the TV or VCR.
Locate an open set of Audio inputs (left & right) on your home stereo. Do NOT use inputs marked "Phono."
Plug the white cable into the Audio Left input on your home stereo. Plug the red cable into the Audio Right input on your home stereo.
Set the input select on the stereo system to match the label on the set of audio inputs. (For example, if you plugged the Audio cables into the AUX port, switch the stereo to AUX or "auxilliary."
Make sure the game is placed properly in the system.
Plug the controller(s) into the front of the Control Deck using the left most port for player one.
Plug the AC Adapter into the back of the system. Plug the other end into a wall outlet.
Turn the power on.
Turn on the TV or VCR and locate the input select. It's often called Input Select, AUX (auxilary), Line, Line In, Input, Source, Select, In, or EXT (external. Switch the input select to show the Nintendo game.
Note: If you are using a VCR, you will need to set the VCR's TV/VCR button to VCR. You can do this by putting a movie in the VCR, pressing play, then pressing stop.

The game image should now be displayed on the screen. You're ready to play.

Remove head lights from 1995 hjonda accord

here is what you will need to do, before anything disengage the airbags system, this is a yellow wiring harness connectors in the console. do not damage these. second,if you still have the factory stereo, there is an anti-theft system, make sure you have the correct activation code needed for the stereo unit. after this is done, you will need to remove the bumper, several bolts up underneath and several up front, behind the turn signals. remove the side marker lights, the five retaining screws on the headlight housing remove the bulb connectors, re assemble with your new light housings. Good luck!

Turns off

My system does the same thing with F61 displaying for 5 seconds before shutting off. I took the fan in the rear off, and noticed that it came on to the touch but didnt stay on continuously. However, when it came on It started performing normally. So, I also noticed that the insides where the fan was located became warm when no air was blowing on it. System will shut off to protect itself. Dont know how to get fan off yet. But fan for my model is sold on Panosonic Website. Not very expensive if you know how to install. Around $17.00 for fan itself. If someone knows how to install , please send message.
