I have been experiencing the same problems as those described by the poster, but for the past week or two (since early/mid October 2008) mine go far beyond that.

Not only do I have connection problems when first getting onto the EA Servers but once connected and I'm in the middle of a game I lose connections regularly.

Yesterday (18 October 2008) I tried for nearly 12 hrs solid to get a few decent games played and in all that time I had about 8 complete games with lots more that were never completed.

I've written to EA Online and complained but I think this could fall on deaf ears UNLESS they get a lot of other complaints with the same problems. So my recommendation to everyone suffering with connection problems relating to EA Online or EA Sports is to complain directly to them using their Contact Us link on the www.ea.com website.

Don't ignore the problem cos without your complaints nothing will get sorted!

I hope for all our sakes that the service will get better, and soon.

All the very best to you all,

Well everytime i connect to a server (no matter what type of game, clock, wireless or with cable) i can play max. ten minutes, and even less most of the time. It just says something like "connection to server lost, please check your connection". Wrote to EA once, few days after i got the game (which is when gold edition was launched in denmark) but still haven't gotten an answer. So i'm up for the idea of complaining or getting them to do something, or w/e as long as i can play a match without disconnecting -.-'

Check your firewall and your internet settings. since Bad company is a new game your firewall might block its connection.

Cannot log into battefield 4 multiplayer on ps4

This is most likely a server-side issue, which means there's not much to do but wait until it's fixed. If you want to make sure it's not a problem on your side though, then double check your internet coneection and settings. (The easy way to do this is make sure your still logged into the PSN, if you are then your internet is working fine.)

It's a server issue or too much latency in your internet connection.

Not able to enter into any multiplayer features despite the fact the psn is back up and running and all other games work fine online

The PSN may be back, however the servers for the fight may be down, or no-one else is playing it with a decent connection that wouldn't cause extreme lag.

As this game is old now, Infinity Ward may have turned off the servers as there is not enough support for the multiplayer aspect. This happens regularly with game that are a couple of years old and not many people play online.

you have lack of signal strength. I you are using a wireless router, try disconnecting it and using a wired connection. If not go to testmyspeed.com and run the test. If you are in the 256kbps range or higher then you have a hardware issue. another tip: when using online multiplayer back out and go to the main menu and then back to multiplayer.(this reconnects you to the server)

They are making updates to the servers.
Please be patient as they are trying to get the servers up and running.

And yes, some people can still connect to the servers while others can't. This is normal during updates. Just wait for about a week and this will go away. If there's still a problem, call Activision and tell them of the problem.
