Question about Computers & Internet

Have a new acer aspire 5520-5277. while we type words through the keyboard in the laptop. the key jumps and deletes some of the lines or some of the words already typed or moves to the previous lines and start typing or inserting what we are typing. Please let me know what need be done to rectify this issue/problem ? Thanks, Mohan

Hi

Please note that your hand is moving around the mouse touch pad and that is very sensitive part.Thats is giving you the problem.Please dont touch the mouse pad while typing.

It looks like the laptop keyboard will need to be replaced. Go to www.ebay.com Type: make and model of the laptop and refine search to keyboard. Before you go any further double check with external keyboard.

That's because when you're typing you are touching the touchpad. You should disable it while typing from the touchpad application or from your keyboard (you have a key combination you can use to disable it or enable it eg. Fn+F7)

It is a Mod Aspire 5720z. Keyboard jumps all


it is not your keyboard, rather it is your mouse, you always mistakenly press the pad. either try and keep your palm away a little bit or on the mouse setting disable the mouse by locking it with the small button in front in which if you press the blue light infront of the mouse will trun red. good luck

Acer Aspire 7720 Notebook Keyboard Problem


Yes there is a fix for this issue. Try the following

1. Open control panel
2. Click on "MOUSE"
3. Click on "POINTER OPTIONS"
4. Uncheck "HIDE POINTER WHILE TYPING"
5. Click Apply
5. Click "OK"
