Question about Video Game Consoles & Games
The Sesame Street Character, when input, now launches a Beta Site and when I click on it my computer just makes a sound like when something is blocked, but nothing happens.
This is kinda a workaround and it will allow your kid to access anything in the new site but it will work (also will allow you to change any of the fobs to whatever you want)
In Vista goto C:Users"Your username"AppDataLocalFisher-PriceEasy-Link internet launch pad
In XP goto c:documents and settings"Your username"appdataLocalFisher-PriceEasy-Link internet launch pad
Find the URL.xml file and make a backup copy of it
Edit the url.xml file in notepad and update the FobID of 1(make sure you made a backup copy)
<URL FobID="1" HomeURL="http://www.sesamestreet.org/home">
<DeniedDomain DomainURL="http://www.sesamestreet.org/parents/" />
<DeniedDomain DomainURL="http://www.sesamestreet.org/aboutus/" />

<DeniedDomain DomainURL="http://www.sesamestreet.org/help/" />
<DeniedDomain DomainURL="http://www.sesamestreet.org/sitemap/" />
<DeniedDomain DomainURL="http://store.sesameworkshop.org/" />
<AcceptedDomain DomainURL ="http://www.sesamestreet.org/games" />
<AcceptedDomain DomainURL ="http://www.sesamestreet.org/videos" />
<AcceptedDomain DomainURL ="http://www.sesamestreet.org/playlist" />
<AcceptedDomain DomainURL ="http://www.sesamestreet.org/muppet" />
<AcceptedDomain DomainURL ="http://www.sesamestreet.org/mystreet" />
<AcceptedDomain DomainURL ="http://ads.sesameworkshop.org/openx/www/delivery/" />
Save the file and load up the software. This has worked for me, and I have updated the dragontales to use pbskids.org as the root and now my son can access everything on PBSKids, without having to buy the other fobs. (even though we did buy a few others)

Solution #3 has the right idea. However, the URL.xml file on my system wasn't located under C:\Users\... I had to look around and finally found the it under "C:\Program Files\Fisher-Price\Easy-Link internet launch pad\". Once I replaced the Sesame Street URL's with those listed above, all was well. Thanks!

I called the mattel service people and they said it is just a matter of time and Seasame street will be working again. That was 2 or 3 weeks ago. I now can't get on to the launch pad. The error keeps saying to download active x 9, which I have. Any suggetions on that problem?

Hey, just curious, the next time my grandson was here and I logged on with him, there was a new interface. Did you all get that too? I guess it is finally updated by the company!

a 6ya Technician can help you resolve that issue over the phone in a minute or two.
Best thing about this new service is that you are never placed on hold and get to talk to real repair professionals here in the US.
click here to Talk to a Technician (only for users in the US for now) and get all the help you need.
