Question about Panasonic SC-HT500 System
I have a Creative Sound Blaster 5.1 device with SPDIF, optical, phones and 6 separate channels analog as optionals outputs.
¿Can I connect these Sound Blaster to SC-HT500 hearing the six separate channels?.
I am afraid the answer is no - this particular Panasonic will only play full surround when watching DVDs. It does not have the right inputs to grab more than stereo sound from your computer.

"Use only supplied speakers
Using other speakers can damage the unit and sound quality will be negatively affected."
I'd take that to mean you really don't want to redeploy the speakers to other electronics either. Theater in a Box is designed as a package. That proprietary cable connector is a huge clue and disincentive to attaching it to other electronics.
