The drive belt comes off, which means that the strimmer looses power.
I've put it back many times, but it soon came off again.
This problem seem to be common in Sweden!

The plastic between motor and axle is not stable.
    What can be done?

I have the same problem. The plastic belt drive wheel wears at the edge of the teeth at the shoulder (which also wears) and allows the belt to slip off. Where can you get a new toothed wheel? And why is it plastic when the smaller toothed drive wheel on the end of the motor which drives the belt is made of metal? How do you get the plastic wheel off?

Hi Bill,
If you turn it upside down you will see the strimmer head. You should be able to remove the protective cover which will allow access to the string cassette. The rest is self evident.

Spool not auto feeding on gl701 and need diagram of how to set it up correctly in strimmer

When putting new line on, it must be wound clockwise onto spool. Make sure to use the correct size line.

Threading line on black & decker GL301 strimmer

Do you mean that the string keeps feeding as you try to operate the trimmer?

If so, you are winding the string on the spool the wrong way. Put the string on the spool in a clockwise direction. This should do it.

BD GL720 strimmer

Yes it can be repaired Jim. The belt has probably snapped. It happened on mine. Just undo all the screws and one hidden screw underneath the black lable near the number one, which is on the same side as all the other screws. Run your finger over the lable and you should feel it. Just pull the telescopic arm out and lift up the motor slightly so that you can place a new belt on. Simple as. Hope this helps
